Totally. The police can help do the teacher in the laundry room.

pffft. everyone knows all violent school rapes occur in the BOILER ROOM, not the laundry room.

So long as it's not the locker room. That would just be silly.

Hey I got an answer. Get the lawyers involved b/c as everyone knows this is a case about free speech.
Oh gee can the school get sued?! Well golly, beaver, we need to find someone to defend our rights! Forget about the $$ involved for recovering civil damages etc meanwhile the children are pawns in their silly little game(Parents vs schoolsystem). Sometimes abuse both physical and mental needs to be reinstituted. This is one of those times that kids need a smackdown. When I get more info, I might reconsider taking the kids' side. |

I stopped reading assholepilot's posts after the first one. Does she still think freedom of speech applies to this?

Wasn't there a thread a while back about someone who got fired for talking shit about their boss on facebook? Bet as a kid, they did the same thing to a teacher and someone told them it was their constitutional right.

Bonestripper wrote:Yup.. it's free speech but feel free to beat your kid, dumb ass. I'm sure the teachers fragile ego was more important than the kid exercising his first amendment. __ Common sense dictates that the kid would spoken to but not punished for his actions. If I were his parent I would strongly explain to him his wrong doings to his teacher/mentor and how it affects his teaching methods and his relationship with them. Then maybe he'd realize he was stupid for writing shit that would put him in bad standing with his teachers and would probably give a formal apology. Punishing him for expressing his 1st amendment rights is totally retarded. If you guys cant see the grey area it's not my fault, sorry. |

"hurt the reputation" implies the statements were liable. Free speech does not cover that.

BEEP!!!! Did the kids threaten to anally rape the teacher in a similar manner to the way Weems allegedly threatened to forcefully sodomize airshowpilot? LOL, I don't know the kids exact comments, just that apparently one of the group members stated that there were "violent sexual comments". I've been searching for some print I can link to regarding it, I can't remember which tv station or radio station covered that though. the whole thing has kinda taken over every news outlet here. Edit: YES libel. me not so good a speller. |

Beep..defamation perhaps but the kid is a minor so a simple apology should suffice.

So wait...you believe kids have the same rights as adults without the same responsibilities?
