Have any other recent Presidents singled out a SCOTUS decision for criticism in a SOTU?

Yeah, but they haven't suggested that congress do an end run around them.

The Fox News web site says Chuckie Schumer applauded loudest when Obama made that remark. If Chuckie approves of it, then there's a good chance that it's both wrong and unconstitutional.

So Chris Mathews, in another stellar journalistic moment, says "I forgot he was black for about a half hour"?
When is this tool going to be permanently yanked from the airwaves? |

Chris Mathews was just confused due to the lack of a negro dialect.

The fact that Olbermann and Maddow have TV shows is one of the strongest arguments against the liberal mindset I can think of.

Obama surprised me with his SOTU speach. It doesn't appear he and the D's have the same play book, especially when it comes to campaign reform, energy policy, health care, or tax breaks for the middle class. Maybe the D's have buyer's remorse that their candidate offers too much reform and enough conformity to their "traditional values."
