Made it til the second commercial. Echoing agreement for The Good Wife as a watchable network legal drama.

I kind of liked it. I love Matt Long and Tina Majorino, so seeing them both in the same show and sharing scenes probably blinded me.

Bones kicked its ass in the ratings and Survivor is back in a couple weeks. Maybe they can merge this show with V.....

Or Flash Forward. Is MODERN FAMILY the only hit show that ABC has besides the big 3?

I would have to say it is one of the worst shows I have seen in a while.

I'm a little torn because, although I think the quality of the execution was TERRIBLE, I didn't find the show boring. Some of the better-made shows are just a snooze.

And for this shit they canceled Eastwick, which at least was entertaining.

I never watch Flash Forward. I was afraid to get hooked, since shows like that either
a) go south very quickly or b) get cancelled right about the time I get heavily invested Eastwick was FAR more entertaining than this shit... and more believable, sadly enough./ |

Why does this show even exist?

I DVR'd this, but I guess I won't watch it based on you guys' opinions. I work in a law office, so if it's so unrealistic, I'd hate it anyway.

Seriously? They cancelled Eastwick for this piece of shit? I'm almost offended!

I will still watch,,,but only because of the hot guys in suits...I may have to watch with the volume off though.

Ouchie Poo wrote: The cancellation of "Eastwick" had nothing to do with this show. "Deep End" was already in production (first season was probably even wrapped) before a decision was ever made as to the fate of "Eastwick". This show would still have aired, whether or not they had renewed "Eastwick". Overall, the IDEA here (Grey's Anatomy in a law firm) isn't such a bad one. It's how they're executing it that sucks. |

The IDEA is a horrible one. You can't really make a show about first years in law without it being incredibly boring or unrealistic. They chose the latter route.

They could have either chosen to NOT make them first years, or focus on the experience (the abuse, the comeraderie, etc.) rather than on the cases. First years don't have enough responsibility with regard to cases to do that.
Let's face it, the actual work of paper-selling is boring, but "The Office" protects us from that and still creates an entertaining show. Same with MOST workplace television shows. It's all about the writing. |

You guys mean to tell me that the first year isnt about getting laid by your co-workers and handling some huge cases? WTF.
