I enjoyed the dominatrix gimmick. She was hot! Without it she'll be just another pretty but skinny young woman. Luckily she's got a really good voice (which I certainly didn't expect). She is my favorite contestant so far this season, and from the rest of the initial reaction in sucks I'd say she's got a good shot to make it to the top 12.

Interestedly enough gimmicks on this show is more of a roadblock when
auditioning than a benefit. There's been people with half way decent
voices who didn't get though because the judges found their gimmicks
to be annoying. So the fact that she made a gimmick work for her is defiantly to her credit.
Like others have said, she is the first person this season I've felt compelled to root for. |
