Also, you know what's a good, enjoyable schedule for the crew? Eighty plus straight days away from home. The back-to-back seasons plan is absolutely about budgeting.

We have had rainy islands, dry islands, forests, tundras, rain forests, outbacks.....all types of places....cept an entirely desert type situation or a cold local.

I have known a few people who got great deals and said the beaches were amazing. It would surprise me that they would go back to a Central American country after all the complaints about Guatemala being such a difficult location.

(1) Sounds like Jeff saving face, and we have no actual word from Mark Burnett about the decision, but I concede that point; (2) Why would it be more expensive to pay for 3 flights (US... location X... location Y... US) than it would be to pay for 4 flights (US... location X... US... location Y.... US)? Your dispute makes no sense: it could be about budget cuts EVEN WITH moving to a different location.

The Nicaragua thing was overheard. The crew member asked that they please keep it quiet. Dad told me it was confidential, but oh well, I don't work in TV, I'm spoiling it (I wouldn't spoil, say, the ending of a favorite well-written drama or anything like that, I normally hate spoilers, but this is just a location spoiler for a reality TV series). At least we get to go to Central America, instead of yet another South-Pacific location (beautiful as they are). I'm with everyone else in wanting a cold weather location too though (somewhere in Canada! Why is everyone presuming that they intend to film the Final Tribal Council of one season then the very next day turn around and start shooting the next season? Where does it say production has to be 80 days? And where does it say that all crew members have to work all 80 of those days?
