The Brett one really got me. That little boy was amazing. Was it just me or did anyone else notice during the intervention scene in his condo when the ex wife told him to say goodbye to his kids for the last time ever, as his son was walking away and Brett said "I love you" the son just said "Bye Brett". Didn't even call him Dad. That tore my cold heart into pieces. Then the end I lost it. Especially the son's interview at the end about his Dad not dying an alcoholic but his Dad. I told my boyfriend about it the next day and broke into tears telling him.

Alright, the Huffing show had me sad, sad, sad. I'd seen it before but it never gets old. Huffing makes your brain cottage cheese & full of holes. Their eyes go all wonky & the DO look psychotic. Glad that girl got her shot together. But the cop/nurse parents whose Son died was horrible. So very sad & unnecessary. God. that left me down in the dumps bad.

Anyone else see the Marquel one this week? Over-exercising and binge drinking - just don't stop exercising or all those calories will start to show on your body.

Marquel is a strange case. I don't know a single alcoholic that over exercises. And she was 30? She looked 45 at least.

Marquel was a strange bird indeed. I felt so bad for her dad. I admire her family for sticking to their guns about no contact with her. And you could tell Candy was at her wits end.
Maybe after she sees how she was portrayed on the show she'll see that she really does have a shit load of problems. She's one I hope they do a follow up on. |

She should have used some of that time working out to take care of her skin and hair issues.

^^^No kidding. She had steroid skin. And what's with the greasy hair? Her sister had it, too. Too much product, ladies.
I can't believe the ex husband was allowing her to see the kids on the weekends. She's just going to leave them alone again to go out to the bars. Guess he needs a Stansel. After a week of parenting, a fella needs some time to himself. |

This episode about the ex-boxer was the most emotional yet. The primal scream is haunting me.

I have a hard time watching this show. It almost makes me physically ill to watch them get so high. Their families are in such pain as well.

Rocky's episode was awesome. I was crying right along with his son as he read the letter about how he hated his father. When he let out the primal scream I could literally feel the sadness and regret. It was as though he had dropped his Rocky persona and let his real self slip out, and realized how he had ruined his life.

all the emotion from rocky and his family and friends was just jarring.

Did anyone who saw this week think that they saw an f-bomb slip by? Sounded to me like the one daughter said "We're thirty fucking years old," when they were at their grandmother's house, but it seemed too obvious for it not to be bleeped out, especially since there was a bleep for something else right afterwards.

She said "thirty-something" years old.

I may have nightmares forever after watching Linda. Her brother Sam had to change her maxipads for her? And he's been her slave for 8 years now? Their parents should give him the house.

Do they have new interventionists?

Candy's still there but the old guy is new and I like him. He doesn't fuck around, which I appreciate. Haven't seen anyone else yet.

they have at least one new nurse...wasn't her name candy? on two of the new epis, they had an intervention or addiction nurse, who we'll call candy because that's a good name for a nurse even if it's not her actual name, who speaks on camera and gets involved.

season 10 started last night....it was good to see them in nyc instead of some suburb. i couldn't remember them there before. last night was candy, but they have a couple new interventionists this season: A&E's Emmy® Award-winning series "Intervention" returns for a tenth season with all new episodes beginning on Monday, December 13 at 9:00PM ET/PT. really, they just need a good, crazy-ass huffer or something....we need some new and exciting addictions and addicts.
