So I just met with my hoarder client and managed to get the following information out of her:
Her kids refuse to visit her because of the mess
She seems to be a regular hoarder and not one of the gross disgusting ones
She cleared a small workspace on her dining room table to set up a computer and that took a lot of effort
And she has one cat (I was scared to ask if she had any buried in the garbage for fear of the answer)
Before she left she took two diet coke cans and one old newspaper out of my recycle bin.
Oh and her purse tipped over at one point and all sorts of paper fell out.

I know! I was taken aback by her wanting my garbage. It was really creepy but she did apologize and said she knows she has a problem.
I'm getting such mental images of her house that I need to find a way to get my hands on some pictures. |

Well, nasty teeth nasher finished me off for good. I deleted this show from my DVR record schedule. Enough was too much. I will no longer hoard bad TV viewing hours! (I hope.)

SERIOUS hate for the fireman. How dare he speak to his mother that way? I'd have hit him in the head with one of his precious pieces of wood and walked away.
And I hate these selfish mothers who refuse to clean up when their kids are obviously suffering health problems due to the filth. Just let little Johnny take handfuls of medications. No need to sweep up the dust elephants. |

I think I am done with this show....every one just seems like lazy ass people who don't want to clean up. I watched a little of the latest episode where the kid has asthma and the stupid bitch mother wouldn't clean up; just kept saying "I feel so bad for him"...then clean up ho!

Two passive-aggressive idiots this week ... the mother was unbelieveable, "I feel so bad for my child" while she resisted doing anything to help him. I wonder if the fireman bitches about all the stuff the firemen bust-up and move aside while fighting fires.

14 year old Mama June seems lazy and really immature.
Doug so far seems like some sort of a saint, just for taking care of the boy with the violent behavior and the special needs. I feel like I'm more willing to give him a pass because he clearly can be unselfish to deal with that on a daily basis. |

I thought that guy was the kid's uncle. I may be wrong. All I can say is thank god for him though. The dad seemed way "off" to me. He was sweet & put up with a lot but he just didn't look right. Kinda simple.
The young mom hit a chord with me. My own mother is only 15 years older than me. My dad was 19 & the 2 of them did relatively well raising me. But we DID grow up like sisters. So I could totally relate to the mom & daughter last night. I liked how they were able to compromise. |

That dad last night looked like he was blind. He kinda had that shifty vacant eye thing going on that blind people usually have. Obviously he wasn't blind, but he looked like it. That was really sad how they had to cover the windows.

Why are people giving the creepy adopter hoarder a pass on his situation? He is even more despicable because he is clearly adding to the retarded kid's problems. His only excuse was that it would take too long to get it clean. It's one thing to have a mental problem that causes you to live in filth - it is a totally different thing to subject vulnerable minors to it. Dad needs supervision and therapy, not just a house cleaning, urine stains and all.

The black guy was a long time friend of the adoptive father. I can't imagine that they are an actual couple. I'd think the black guy would be too grossed about by his living conditions to have a real relationship with him. He's too organized for all that nonsense.
I'm surprised Children's Services gave the dad the kids to begin with. Unfortunately, since the little boy was a crack baby, they were probably happy to find anyone who wanted him. I felt sorry for his little sister. |
