I know that the "winner" of BL wins 250K but those who say "what do you expect (from Reds), it's a game" are off-base.
In my opinion, this is the one show where the money is the consolation prize. The real prize is getting on the show to begin with. Ask anyone who has struggled with weight loss what they would PAY to have even 2 days with Bob and Jillian. (I have looked into the BL Arizona place and it is 4 or 5 grand for 4 weeks.) YOU can't buy that time with B & J.
To me, throwing two weeks of potential weight loss for "gameplay" is a slap in the face to the other contestants who work their butts off every week and to every overweight person who would love to be in their place. I just don't get it. 250K won't buy you extra years of life or even make you happy so why do it?
I have no doubt that Melissa water-loaded for two weeks. I also have no doubt that Jillian hit the nail on the head when she told Bob that Melissa had to lose weight this week due to "peer pressure." Melissa knew that she was close to the line as well and that's why she lost 11 pounds and her chunky-monkey hubby only lost 7. They are still holding back.
While I think the Migs do have issues, I was happy to see the smile on little Mig when she was at home. She does seem to be making progress. As to Mommy Mig, I believe that the reason that Melissa wanted her gone is because she KNOWS that Mamma Mig sees right through her BS. Are the Reds in an alliance with the Greys and Brown? Of course they are. Didn't you see how the vote went down? AND Melissa is controlling the alliance. (I am getting a little tired of Grey Boys and Brown being so judgmental on everyone else. They better hope they never have a down week or they may be toast after some of the things they have said.) I have high hopes that Orange, Pink, White and Purple see through their little game and put the pressure on.
Finally.... JILLIAN - YOU ROCK SISTER. I love that she never backed down from her beliefs with the Red Team and never gave them an inch. As she said, she's not stupid.
