I really have to chime in after tonight's eviction shows.
Davina's entrance into the house was one of the most surreal moments of reality television I have ever seen. It was at times cathartic--she sat in the diary room chair and was addressed directly by Big Brother in a moment that has in some ways been brewing since 2000. At other points Davina's entrance was genuinely creepy. All of the housemates knew immediately the new chicken costumed person was an impostor but didn't know it was Davina. They followed her around and you could hear Vinnie saying something like "Hey Nicola, come here for a second," to attempt to pry off the head of Davina's costume. There's a frightening moment where Davina is cornered in the kitchen and you think Vinnie and his goons might overpower her. Pretty much required viewing for BBUK.
