One moment he was shooting a quick segment for one of those “make me look like a celebrity” reality shows, the next he was getting his nails done with another interviewer, then a cosmetics company showed up and did some big ass-kissy presentation about giving him free mascara blah blah blah. All the while, to his great credit, he was extremely sweet and patient, in an endearing, genuine, not jaded kind of way. And once our time came to shoot an interview, he was completely engaged and open and lovely. I do wonder, when Adam will get the memo that he's supposed to be acting like an arrogant, entitled douchebag. I mean all these reports on how sweet and gracious he is are fucking up the haters mantra

They expect him to be more conforming - stand still and sing. But if you compare him to performers in general, he fits right in. Especially if you compare him to rockers like rolling stones, queen, inxs, aerosmith, etc. Performers are funky.

I think he's a gentle person and doesn't quite grasp the point of being negative. However, I'm of the opinion that if someone talks shit about him (or anyone else) then he (or they) have the right to respond and that doesn't make him a dick for doing so. I admire that he's willing to call people out for their shitty comments instead of acting like it doesn't bother him. He ignored Gene Simmons for weeks but Simmons kept it up and finally Adam gave it back and suddenly Adam is the asshole cuz Simmons is a legend who is due some extraordinary amount of respect even though he'd done nothing but talk shit about Adam. also the guy from Out magazine was a prick. I think everyone that Adam has called out has deserved it. JMO.. I agree with everyone thing you said about the Strut performance.... and I also agree that people who are avid AI viewers/fans aren't used to having someone who is actually comfortable with moving around on stage.

The whole thing made me think of Freddy Mercury, which inspired me to look at some Freddy on Youtube. Tatania - that was when I decided I thought Adam was better than Freddy! (Watch it - you'll get called out on that one!) Adam just hasn't earned the status that Freddy had/has.
