And MAN - a lot happened last season. I can't wait to see how they are going to top it.

Has anyone else been watching the marathon on USA all day? Now I am even more excited for tonight.

What a terrific ep!
I don't think I've ever seen a full ep of Cagney & Lacey, but what fun to see those chicks back together again. Perfect BN pacing -- I love it when Michael makes BFF's with the bad guys then douches them. Anybody think the cellphone Brit's accent sounded fake? Way too over-mannered. Fi appears to have gained some weight, which is a relief. |

Burn Notice is back <3!
Love C&L being back together again (sort of)! Looking forward to more! |

IT was nice to see them allow Sharon Gless to do some emotional scenes. She's such a great asset to the show.

So what's the over/under on Sam being the person who burned Michael?

I'm just wondering how far they can go with the one person leads them to another person who leads them to the next one...
These potential burnees always end up a step ahead of Michael and it could make sense that there's an end game that has involved closely watching Michael dealing with a series of leads, all the while 'helping' him through the process... I could be reading too much into it :-). |

On initial read, I thought "that's too fucked up" too.
But it kinda makes sense. Sam had been informing on Michael prior to the burn notice, and note that he got dumped in Miami where Sam could keep an eye on him. Why didn't "they" whoever "they" turn out to be just dump him in Luanda, Brinidisi, Orlando, or some other hell hole? Plus from Sam's perspective, Fi could handle babysitting duties -- which she did in ep. 1. Maybe she's in on the burn notice, too? |

Piranhahaha wrote: I think this is definitely a legitimate theory. I've never been able to get over the fact that Sam used to inform on Michael... yet Michael keeps him in the inner circle. Heck - he IS the inner circle. As much as I adore Sam Axe, I don't know if we can totally trust him. |

I was glad to see Cagney & Lacey back together again too. I also liked seeing Sharon Gless with some meatier scenes. I don't want Sam to be the one to have burned Michael. It doesn't make enough sense to me.

That really does make a lot of sense and it would be the perfect GOTCHA because we're reminded of it every episode!

Ugh - it makes perfect sense. We know why Fi doesn't want him to pursue the burn notice, she doesn't want to lose Michael. Sam says he doesn't want "Mikey" to get hurt but if HE'S the big baddie behind it all...they always remind us that Sam is the guy "who knows a guy"...meaning he's connected everywhere.
Damn. |

I actually thought last night's episode was better than the season premier. I laughed, I cried, I learned how to blow up a house with a microwave.........
I just love the "helpful hints" this show doles out. I really think "MythBusters" should do a show or two devoted entirely to "Burn Notice" tips. That would be sweet. |

My husband is watching this with me now. He was flipping thru channels as saw the Charger and started watching an episode. He told me he wants to watch it now. He also loves the on-screen names they gives the clients and bad guys.
The Myth Busters idea is a good one. |
