I loved his show from the minute it started because I realized that he really didnt care what people thought and was willing to do and say almost anything. Some of the best episodes were at the beginning when he would have weekly cohosts. Snoop Dogg was hilarious, and it might sound crazy, but after the week when Mike Tyson was on I came away thinking he was hilarious and a gentle soul, which is a weird thing to discover from a late night talk show. But Jimmy did it.

His slightly pugnacious, working class aura is perfect for launching comedic crackbacks on Leno.
