Was it just me or was the ending cut a little bit? But otherwise, great finale. Lots of shocks, but enough other moments for awesomeness. Too bad we didn't get more episodes to really flesh out the characters but it was a fun ride while it lasted. :) Thank you, Joss and the Dollhouse team!

And so it ends. I don't care what its detractors say I still liked this show, there were a few bad eps but you can't have a hit each and every episode, I'll miss the show, at least it had an ending.

I was devastated to see Ballard go. He wasn't always my favorite but he was such a pure character and the actor who plays him really does it for me. In a sexual way. His death felt kind of tacked on, but I guess they couldn't have everyone live happily ever after.
Topher's death was very poetic although I was kind of expecting Adelle to die. I'm glad she didn't. I was curious about who Alpha was pre-Alpha. My only complaint is no Whiskey. I also thought maybe there was a bit too much time spent with the new people (especially considering Epitaph One didn't even AIR). Whatever tho, I'm so glad we got some closure. I'm really thankful to Fox for that. |

I'm very glad I watched Epitaph One last weekend - I would've felt very lost if not!

I wish they would have started the whole 'tech' revolution earlier and introduced that instead of suddenly having Victor and his band of hackers show up. I think they could have started building that in more with people and their 'attachment ports'. And where was Whiskey????
They could have made the ending with Ballard more intense, instead of a throwaway death. I wish they didn't revive them after Alpha first killed him and then just have Echo go on a rampage because of it. Then when all is said and done, have her upload him into herself. Solid, solid show though. Hope they have some great extras on the DVD!!! |

That was a super-sweet finale considering that they didn't have too much time to make it.
I thought Eliza was fantastic during the grieving scene. I watched Epitaph One right before and I am glad I did. At the end of E1, doesn't Whiskey lay down to die after she unleashes the gas to kill the invaders? I was under the impression Whiskey was dead so I did not miss her. |

That was a pretty good ending to the series. Everything was tied up and poor Topher sacrifices himself to put the world back to how it was again. Ballard got the shocking sudden death from nowhere. And Echo got closure of sorts.

I was personally very disappointed in the finale...the dialogue sucked, the ideas thrown together, and the whole thing just felt cheesy. I would have preferred it to end with the second to last episode.
Oh well, I ended up loving the show after being very doubtful about it in the beginning. Damn you Fox for cutting it short! |
