I know we don't get as much snow as everyone up north, but geez if you're too scared to drive in the snow, stay home. I'm tired of these people stopping in the middle of the streets because their car slid an inch or two!
I get out of my car knock on their window and tell them to fucken go or I was gonna drive their car out of the way for them. I had to do this 3 TIMES today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate snow morons. I have a real steep hill with speedbumps on my way home and there are always idiots who insist on crawling up it even though what you really need to do is go as fast as you can so you don't get stuck. So I wind up driving around these people like a maniac so I don't get stalled out in the middle of the fucking hill.

As someone living in New England (Boston-area) can I just say...THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS THIS.
It's either - you see people driving 5 mph on 1/2 inch of snow - or you see SUV's thinking they are indestructable plowing through at 45 mph in a huge snowform, and they subsequently spin out into a ditch or get stuck in a huge drift and block traffic for blocks and blocks. Then you have the in-betweens who do fine until they come up to a turn and then take it too fast, and spin out, or take it too slow, and get stuck. How hard is it? Just drive NORMALLY but SLOWLY. Not insanely fast because you have 4-wheel drive, or insanely slow because you're old and moronic. Just...drive. Slowly. Your car will make it, so will you. Fuck my life. I can't believe my insurance went up $400 this year WHILE I STILL MAINTAIN A PERFECT DRIVING RECORD because of "high claims in the area." So unfair. |

The problem in my area is that people insist on driving just as quickly in the winter as they do in the summer, and they end up sliding out of control. It's not unusual for me to pass a few cars in the ditch on my way to school each day- usually it's people in trucks or their all-wheel drive Suburus.

we have same problem over with jerks who can't drive in snow .........either to slow or to fast ...................... we have had 6 inches near me prob not as bad as some of you but bad enough .......... I blame the trucks ......... sodding useless in snow they are, all they do is compact the snow to ice then we are all knackered ..........
