I say the Taylor Swift performance was bad objectively because even an animal would know that she wasn't singing on key. Fish were flying out of their bowls as the caterwauling that emanated from her gaping mouth disrupted even their primitive sensory organs. It was amateurish, and then to embarass her further, she was joined on stage with an actual legend. In five years, she'll go the way as two other country flavors of the moment -- Shania Twain and Gretchen Wilson. I mean, where the hell are they today?

That is it. I am not watching the Grammy Awards again. I hate Taylor Swift. I hate Beyonce. I hate Eminem. I hate the Black Eyed Peas. I hate Jay-z. I hate Lil Wayne. I hate Kanye West. I hate them all... except Lady GaGa, Kathy Griffin and Pink. Everyone else can suck Kathy's strap-on dick.

Taylor and Stevie WERE better than that rap shit, and gruel is better than swill, but that don't mean I want it for breakfast.

lol the grammies lost prestige when the fucking Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus got nominated a few years ago!

Actually Glam, the Celine MJ tribute was surprisingly good, as long as you can take a healthy dose of cheese. Dave Matthews was good too. Just fast forward through the awful Eminem/Lil Wayne performance at the end, because most of it is muted out anyway.
Actually, I'm surprised Miley didnt get a nomination this year for Party In The USA, the first year she actually deserved one. |

Oddly I used to go to shiloads of DMB years ago.. they were my Dead. One year the Peas opened for them and I thought despite the slut lead singer they are highly entertaining.
Unlike whatever this is right now.. Howard Stern is right Country is for the singers who can't sing well. What is wrong with Nicole's face? Seriously I got a whole "Others" vibe and just checked the door |

Well, my best performance list for tonight:
1. Lady Gaga + Elton John 2. P!nk 3. Beyonce 4. The MJ Tribute 5. MJB + Andrea Bocelli 6. Maxwell + Roberta Flack 7. Green Day + Cast of American Idiot 8. DMB 9. Lady Antebellum 10. BEP 11. Zack Brown Band Taylor Swift, Jamie Fox, and the Rap trio at the end were all equally AWFUL that I can't even rank them. |

I agree with your rankins Grenade. Although I've always had a soft spot for Roberta and for sentimental reasons would rank hers higher. The show really did go downhill after the opening act.
