As for the gay Alby storyline, the picture is for blackmail purposes, not a personal momento. The guy will try to put the screws to Alby (no pun) and he'll whip out the photo and get his way.

I'm not a huge fan of political office storyline either. To Carboy and Anne's points, the Mother of the Year debacle being flat out ignored is short sighted. It's almost as if the writers have one underlying idea- let's set one of the characters up for a personal crowning achievement and then have the polygamy issue undermine it (Margene's impending fall from grace, Bill's run for office, and Barb's previous MOTY exposure and excommunication from her beloved church). This political office trainwreck in the making is the most obviously doomed storyline yet.

Macaulay To Go Mormon?Filed under: TV News > Chloe Sevigny
We think this would be a great casting choice! He does well in those quirky roles! Macaulay Culkin has been visiting friend Chloe Sevigny on the set of HBO's Big Love and now the show wants to offer him a role! Co-creator Will Scheffer says, "We're interested in him…We can see him (on the show)." Actor Bill Paxton chimed in saying that Macaulay would "make a great young evangelist." Well he's young-ish…the Home Alone star turns 30 this summer! Hard to believe! Do U want to see Macaulay on Big Love? Actually I think Alby took the photo as a memento but he will end up using it for blackmail. He looked too pleased when he took it, but not in a devious way...in a little girl way.

I've never liked Bill. But after tonight, I don't ever want to see his character on my TV screen again. And Turkey Tetrazzini ftw

The thing is, the wives are also going to suffer. The whole family will suffer. And poor Sarah. Hasn't she been through enough. I bet she ends up movng away at the end of the season. At least I hope she does. If she gets killed off I refuse to watch next season.

This is how I hope it plays out at the end.
Margene takes her kids and raises them alone. Continues a relationship with her former sister wives as friends and aunts to her children. Huge deal on QVC. The new "Joy Mangano". Sara and Ben leave and make a new life for themselves. Even though it seems rational that Ben and Margene would be atracted to one another, it is too skeevy for them to end up together. Oh, and Sara adopts that adorable baby. Teeny goes to live with her grandma or aunt and lives the "righteous" way. Total bitch. Nikki takes her boys and semi-crazy daughter and marries the prosecutor. Turns her back on the principal and becomes a power player in politics. She schemes better than most and thats half the game. Still close to her sisters (not wives) and still is connected to her nephews and neices and vice versa. And she can shop til she drops with no judgement! Barb becomes a guidance counselor. Stays in the school system. And begins a new life as a single woman who can be honest. Has strong relationships with her kids and her sisters kids. Also, she begins a slow and wonderful relationship with that super hot guy from the casino. Joey becomes a widower. I just cannot stand Wanda (perhaps a murder/suicide after she takes out JJ) and he meets a nice woman who has children of her own. He takes over one of the houses Bill owned and paints it yellow as a tribute to Wanda and he becomes a football coach at the local high school and also a shareholder in Home Plus. Albie just goes gay. Completely, unababshedly gay. Don't care about his wives or kids since I am not sure which is which in Albie's story. Opens a retreat in Provincetown and lives happily ever after. With funds stolen from UEB! Adaleen gets discovered for her amazing singing ability and is the next Susan Boyle. Makeover and all. Frank just dies since he already looks dead. Lois takes over Bill's part in the casino and she is freaking fabulous. Wouldn't mind if Lois goes a bit slutty and sows her wild oats!!!!!!! Go Lois! Don stays on as a equal partner in Home Plus. His ex-wives see the error of their ways (cause you must be crazy not to love some Don) and even though he does not take them back he sees his kids all the time. Don also becomes head of a church he has established and though he is in flux with leaving the principal, he lives openly and at peace. I LOVE DON! And to Bill. The truth comes out that he is a fucking douchebag. And I am sorry for the language, but come on is there any other way to describe him. He loses the election, his families, his freedom (goes to jail) and encounters Hollis Green. I know it is a stretch, but this is my fantasy. Hollis has found a following in jail and the band together to kill Bill. And the next day TELEFLORIST delivers fruit baskets to all of Bill's former family members. Signed sincerely, Hollis Green. Caus e even jail cannot stop Hoills from being polite. Fade to black. |

Bill is such a !%+!. Didn't he say something like they aren't like Juniper Creek, they don't cast their sons out? Maybe it was just implied since I don't remember the quote. Anyway, what an ass.
Alby looked like such a little boy. I know we aren't supposed to like him, but I feel so sorry for him. I'm getting pretty sick of the holier than thou Indians. If they didn't want whitey on the reservation they shouldn't have allowed a casino. The whole casino plot is a bust. (see what I did there? bust?) No, it's crap(s). Yeah, that's it. |

I absolutely hate Bill. What he did to Don tonight sealed that deal for me. He has sunk to an all new low. Then telling his son to leave really shocked me. I have never been a fan of Bill and his selfish ways, but last night took the cake.
None of his plotlines make sense this season. They made such a huge deal last year about getting the casino open and he now has nothing to do with it. Who would send their wife, who has NO business experience, of to run a casino? Not to mention the fact that it is in a tent! That bothers me so much! Why would you put a casino in a tent? Wouldn't security be a huge issue there? And straight up running for Senator with no political experience what so ever? He is so concerned about himself that he is completely blind as to what this is doing to everyone around him. I really feel like we are missing out on alot of potentially really good storylines to focus on Bill's stupidity. I would really love to see Margene leave. I keep rooting for her business to do great so she can leave and be on her own. I never really felt that she was into the whole principle or religous part, she just seemed to be looking for a family. With her it is more about finally having a family and not the religion. She was so young and lost when they married her that I doubt that decision will hold forever. It seems like she is going in a direction where she is separating herself. I want to see more of Nikki and her daughter. Also, her ex husband marrying her mother is classic! That is going to be great! I can't help but wonder how much Alby believes in the principle as he claims. Or how much he loves the power that "believing" gives him. |

I wonder how Nikki and Margene will like the idea that - if only for insurance reasons - they now are considered two of Don's "5 wives". |

I am not enjoying this season. The plots lack logic and the continuance fairy seems to be missing. New writing staff, perhaps?
In Season 1, when Barb told Margene not to hug and kiss Benny, and to cover up in front of him, Margene was appalled. She told Barb she ought to be ashamed of herself for having such dirty thoughts. But now, Margene is in love with Ben?! Last season, Vernee and JoJo left Don and Peg and took their kids. I got a good chuckle out of Peg’s, “Sadly, Don and I are monogamous” line. So, where did Don get five wives? Adaleen would never submit so meekly. And, why did Teeny wait until now to inform her parents of Ben’s letter to Margene? End of rant. |

Margene was covering her true feelings by over-acting her concern and outrage. Don is claiming Margene and Nikki to cover for Bill. He only has three wives. Adaleen has a devious plan. Teeny was away on a camp/recast vacation.
Make sense now? Yeah, not to me either. |

I am not sure why everyone is bitching. Every season it is the same thing.... shit happening and building up to a bigger shit happening in the finale. Then you add in some suspense and lots of pressure/stress in each episode (as you build). This is just where the writers have taken their story. To keep the suspense and pressure they are going in this direction for their story and because of their story they have run out of ideas to put Bill (and family) in the hot seat.

Many people predicted that Bill would start to mirror Roman eventually, and definitely stronger than ever now with him wanting to kick Ben out. Nothing would make me happier than to see him hung up and beat to death. And Im beginning to like the new theme song. I actually downloaded it from Itunes. Its catchy!

My dream scenario for how the show would end is in no way an admission of not being crazy for Big Love. I still think it is one of the great shows that we have to watch.
I am just getting to the point that watching Bill and his cartoonish actions are getting too implausible to handle. He is not even a shadow of the character he was in the begining. HE is so fame whorish and this complete lack of care he shows everyone is just too much. I just want to see BILL crumble. Not the family go down for the count, but Bill himself. I think he is far worse than Roman. So much of what Bill has done is disgusting, but his shunning Ben was just the straw that broke the camels back and now I have seething hate for him! |
