Feb. 1 was the deadline to hand in the finished/defended version of my dissertation to avoid paying tuition fees for another year. So I will be celebrating as follows: 1. lobbying the Dean for an extension. 2. if I don't get the extension, getting shit-faced with friends with money I owe the university.
