Does anybody want to speculate what would have happened had I played that stupid idol? I figured since you guys had six votes against me, you would have had five votes the next night and Paloma had immunity, so if it was a tie, and I couldn't find the idol again, she would have booted me. I just assumed that I either would have been voted out the next night, or ended up as that doofus who gets dragged to the final 3 and doesn't get any votes.

If you played the idol, I am pretty sure I would have tried to keep you safe. Not sure how well I would have been able to keep you safe, but I did want to work with you. It seemed like you were the only one who understood the game as well as I did. After reading confessionals though, Paloma rly knew what she was doing too

Yeah, I can't believe you pulled a Jason and didn't use the Idol after Michelle had been blindsided with it. But then again, I can't believe she got voted out twice with it either.

Well, it really is tough. Sometimes it is worth the risk of not playing the idol. Greater risk, greater reward. Sometimes it pays off, and sometimes it blows up in your face. I'm sure if he knew he was in a secure position after survivng that vote, he would have played it. But he probably didnt think he would be in a good enough position after playing it... even if he was guaranteed to survive that one round. I shouldnt speak for him though :P

I'd rather go out knowing I'd fired every bullet in my gun, then go out saving a clip "just in case". If a zombie outbreak happens and a zombie's after you, and you've got a shotgun, you blow that mother fucker's head off, lol.

The one thing I'd say in my defense is that my being gun-shy with the idol wasn't due to ignorance. I knew people were after me and there was a good chance I'd get the most votes. It was mainly just an experiment, since I've wanted to see what would happen if someone tried this on the show, but I don't think anybody has. I've said in the past that James should have bluffed with the idols in China even if he didn't intend to use them until later. It's kind of a catch-22, since if you're desperate enough to need it, you probably won't have enough information to know for sure when to play it. I should have realized that it wasn't the right time to be doing that, due to the zealotry of my enemies. I didn't think it made sense for them to vote for me if they expected me to play it (and their voting confessionals indicate that they did), but they wanted me gone so badly that 10 idols probably wouldn't have deterred them from trying. One other thing I didn't realize at the time is that some people weren't sure whether I really had it or not. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to display it publicly, because I would have. I got lazy and just assumed that since Erinn knew I had it, everybody did.

I never even thought about the idols. I didn't even know any were in play until someone told me JT/Erinn had one. I never considered looking for them or finding out who had them. I voted for Erinn 3 times in a row and she had idols pretty much every time.

SwineForkbeard wrote:We did know you had it. Sugar was going anyways and it was worth the risk to, had you played the idol Sugar would have gone, so why not try something? We needed Sierra's vote in order to do anything, and I knew she was voting you. We took a calculated risk and it worked and allowed us to take "control" of the game for a brief amount of time. You were a wild card and that is dangerous. You really should've put your role playing aside and aligned with your fellow Luvale, especially after Michelle was eliminated. You and Luvale4 could have dominated the game.

Why, so Matty could sell me out too? Those bozos wouldn't have dominated no matter how large a majority they had. I would much rather have had Coach in my corner.

I read the loser lounge finally. I love how you followed pretty much the whole season, Swine, even though you didnt play for long.

Don't tell me he didn't deserve it. I don't care now that the game was over but he had some issues with the way he talked to people.

I actually liked pretty much all of Ngoni of the get go (except Sierra and her random stuff). From Luvale I liked Corinne, Matty and Paloma at first. Then all the drama kicked off and little by little I was like F this some of these guys have too much drama.

Nah, I don't think it was like high school. Things had a tendency to go my way back then, lol.
