The empty corner is exactly what makes it neutral. You can't have feelings about anything in the corner, as there isn't anything there. If you put anything in the empty corner then it spices it up, and will make people either love it, or hate it. If you then decide to take something away from the corner, you could be upset that they took away your bed, or whatever else is there.
An empty corner is true neutral.
I'll agree to step into the empty corner, but only because I'm too neutral to argue otherwise.
