If Jacob is telling Hugo he died an hour ago...it makes sense they are now caught up to Ben/Sun/Lapidus etc time...(but still prior to Jacob being killed) Well kinda see whats been going on the rest of the island while Flocke and Ben were heading to Jacob. It also will make sense why Richard said he saw all of them die...he probably did. We just havent seen it yet?

The huge blast of radiation from the bomb going off counteracts the electromagnetic blast...they cancel each other out (not without side effects though :p) Thats what saves the day. Dharma will realize this, and crate the hatch there to maintain the electromagnetic enegery. Every button push will release a small blast of radiation (thats whats behind the concrete walls) to counteract the small buildup of electromagnetic energy. If it gets TOO big...there is a fail safe key. Turning the key sets off a radiation blast similar to an H bomb. It was set up like this cause Dharma realizes thats how it was contained in 1977? Thats why i think the bomb going off is what creates the whole Swan hatch button pushign situation.

I think the bomb technically went off. And i think the electromagnetic blast that was supposed to destroy the island was going off too. They cancel each other out? So neither has the destruction they would have had separately? Im theorizing that's basically what the fail safe key turning does...last resort kinda thing.

And I've been offline for over 5 days due to our phone lines getting fucked up outside. It took ATT that long to get their slow butts over here to fix it. I'm on dial-up too so I've been lost. Literally. But, I made it back on just in time. I'm beginning to think they are all mirror images of themselves Ever since I noticed that moving scar on Locke. Then I started thinking about how much Darlton would balk at Marvin's hand/arm. One day on one side & one day on the other side. It HAS to be important. But, I'm ready to see it from scratch & can't wait for my 3 hour cruise tomorrow night. Welcome back to all oldies returning & welcome to the newbs joining us. We have fun here so don't be shy. Does anyone have a screencap with his scar on the left instead of the right?

Right before that Jack is asking why his name is on something. I wonder if there are mirrors for each of the Losties, or at least those assigned numbers. I can't wait to see what Jack sees in that mirror that makes him want to break it...

Terry always poses with the right side of his face towards the cam...and you can tell the eyebrow arch differences. Id be more inclined to believe the mirror thing if they actually put the scar on the other side of his face, but they didnt :P The negative flipping might have been intentional...but if it was, only to create a mystery where there is none?

I was photography editor of my HS newspaper & yearbook & the very first thing I learned about composition was that people should be facing inward & not off the page. So we used the flip negative trick all the time. But I recall reading a spoiler a few weeks ago about a huge mirror on the island. And my LOST imagination ran amok. You know how we get sometimes in here.

Apparently Jin is detained at the airport because they find a lot of cash in his bag. Supposedly this allows Sun to make a run for it. Nothing else that we don't already know, yet.

Thanks to Sarah for the following. On Youtube there is a huge banner at the top of the homepage for Lost with all of the characters. Some of the characters have a little "+" next to them, and you can hover over it and hear a clip of audio. I think the audio is from season six! Just an example, when you hover over Kate, all the other characters disappear save for Claire, and you hear Kate saying, "They're protecting us, I think," with some jungle/animal noises in the background. Thanks to Michelle for providing a transcript of each audio part. Lapidus: "I'm seeing it, but I'm still not believing it" -- Locke is highlighted in this one. the legs of the statue appear with Lapidus and Locke Kate: "They're protecting us, I think." (interesting, this doesn't really sound like Kate's voice ...) -- Claire is highlighted Jack: "Do what you have to do." No one else highlighted here Sawyer: "Welcome aboard."-- Kate is highlighed, and an elevator pops up in the far corner. Sayid: "Who are you?" (This DEFINITELY is not Sayid's voice) - no one else is highlighted, but some sort of Asian script runs across the screen Claire: "I said go." He says the fans will be satisfied and that will not be left hanging. (YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!) Edward in New York: Will Ben Linus get any more honest this season? According to Michael Emerson, no. "I have always meant to be forthright, it's just that sometimes you get in a pinch and your mission requires that you fudge the truth a little and get things done!" In the promo, Jack's probably commenting on his name being on "The List". True, but what about Pickett's line that Shephard wasn't even on "the list"? Guess there are a bunch of lists. ;) His name (as well as Sawyer, Locke, one of the Kwons, Hurley and Sayid) is also associated with The Numbers. His number is 23. It could be this he sees?
