So far you've given poorly reasoned opinions so I'm thinking it's obviously biased. We don't know who wins because we don't know how the season plays out. For you to be willing to drop a stack of bills down as a bet is a bit ridiculous. A lot is going to come down to how the second half of the jury gets voted out. We don't know those dynamics. You don't know if Colby and Rupert are going to feel beholden to Sandra for siding with them over Danielle. You don't know if Amanda or Candice is gunna get back stabbed by Parvati. There's too much unknown to be making these confident assessments of the jury vote. It's fucking stupid to try. There's no way to pick a winner unless you know how that happens and what people are driven to do in the end. It could be any of the final three, unless you buy the spoiler that Russ doesn't get any of the votes (which based on the way he played the game last time is quite possible). I will be shocked if Parvati doesn't have the votes of Danielle, Amanda and Coach based on the spoilers we have been given thus far. The point about Colby possibly being grateful to Sandra is a good one, and maybe Candice is good friends with Sandra. Maybe JT is embarrassed by how he gets duped by the evil alliance and voted for Sandra. We just don't know, but at this point anything is possible. The people who talk with such certainty that Sandra wins are annoying.

Wouldn't it be kind of strange if they featured her more on last night's special? Surviving Survivor was about the 10th anniversary of the show, not necessarily the upcoming season. The people featured on last night's special (minus Amanda and Rob) were the threepeaters. More people remember them than many of the others in the cast. It would kind of be like including a Parvati section in a Pre-Micronesia special. Parvati appearing twice and winning her second season made her more of a star than she originally was. If Sandra wins Heroes vs. Villains and becomes the only person to win both seasons she appeared on, she'll merit a mention on any future specials. Since they weren't going to focus on Candice, Danielle, Tyson, Randy, etc. maybe they didn't think it made sense to feature Sandra since a lot of casual viewers are wondering why she's there. Also, for those saying she'll be invisible on the show: Obviously, it's possible. Anything is with Survivor editors. But, considering some of the spoilers we've been told (the Randy/Sandra/machete incident, Sandra gets loud with Coach, Courtney is voted out because she's too close to Sandra, Sandra wins or comes in 2nd, etc.), I have to imagine she'll be shown at least as much as she was in Pearl Islands, maybe a little more. It's a pretty good deal considering I never thought I'd see her on the show again.

She's obviously a good player, she'll be in every episode and it doesn't appear that she's going to be ignored and that's enough to satisfy me. I can't wait for her stint on TAR with Russell ^_^ I do, however, think it would bring the lulz to see the backlash against her if she beat yet another Sucks golden child (following in the tradition of Jonathan in CI and Cirie in Micro).

Not 100% done, a lot of people here are basing their thoughts on Missye's last season spoiler, and their <3 Sandra mentality. Although I think with that jury and with those people in the finals it's looking like Sandra will win, in my mind. I think basically there are 3 schools of thought Sandra wins Parvati wins SurvivorsUnite is wrong, and someone not in the spoiled final 3 wins.

Posts: 1505 (02/05/10 06:06 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Just because Sandra wasn't shown in the special doesn't mean she doesn't win. Didn't they only bring back 10 players to interview? All 10 of those players brought back had a relatively large impact on the show and most all of them were from recent seasons minus Hatch, who is the first winner anyway so he's an exception. Ethan and Jenna were also exceptions because they've stayed in the limelight after the show (and Ethan's battle with cancer), and same with Rob and Amber for staying in the limelight after the show. Honestly, Sandra has probably been forgotten by the general viewing audience, so it wouldn't make sense to feature a lot of her on the special if they were going to hone in on only 10 of the past players. I don't think it has anything to do with who wins this season. If anything, I think they've pimped Parvati out way too much by showing us a lot of her, which would make it too obvious for her to win.

I would think it would be: Coach - Parv Courtney - Sandra JT - Parv Amanda - Sandra Candice - Parv (I see it as we think she won't vote for Parv because she's said in many interviews they're not close, but it was said that she votes for someone we don't think she will vote for... thus Parv) Danielle - Parv Rupert - Sandra Colby - Sandra Jerri - The mystery vote.... I'm guessing Sandra. So Sandra wins 5-4. As sucky as that may seem, I do love Sandra and congratulate her for her win.
