Midnight I'd love to know how Sandra's film getting a nod for BP somehow means Meryl is the favorite?
Whether Sandra goes on to win or not, it is pretty undeniable right now that she is the front-runner. She has checked off everything on her check list needed to be a contender and then some. So DEAL with it you stupid sluts. |

Lol, what the fuck did Laurent do? I thought her theater scene was awesome, but other than that, Diane Kruger completely owned her. It should have easily won Best Actress too. In fact, Swank was the worst that year, especially competing against 3 performances that are easily some of the best of the decade. The most depressing thing is Jim Carrey missing a nomination

"Man on the Moon" 1999 Not your usual Carrey movie but he acted his ass off there "Eternal Sunshine" Didn't see it but he so deserved a nod Other comedians like Eddie Murphy get Oscar noms while Jim doesn't?  Really hate Eddie's work over the past decade Sandra Bullock was supposed to be in "Million Dollar Baby"? OMG She would have been a Oscar winner already ;( |

I agree, I was kinda shocked Cam didn't get more buzz for that film. I was in tears during the final scene right before the daughter died.
I don't know who else I want: Reese & Julia got theirs and Sandra is this year. Maybe Jamie Lee Curtis? Winona Ryder? Drew Barrymore? .... ETA: Glenn Close too.
