Remove this ad I don't get it either why she is getting so camera shy. By covering her face isn't going to stop the paps, if anything, they're going to keep snapping the pictures until they get one of her face. She should just wave, smile, and let them get their pictures. She's getting to be a bigger star now with agreeing to star in movies and TV sitcoms, so she should get used to the paps wanting her picture. I just hate when celebrities hide their face ... what's the purpose of that?

Carrie Underwood is doing some heavy-duty beach hopping on Sunday. The country crooner is scheduled to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl LXIV in Miami before flying to the Hawaiian island of Oahu to start shooting her feature film debut, reports People.com. Underwood, 26, is set to play a close friend of Bethany Hamilton, the champion teen surfer whose arm was severed by a shark in 2003 when she was 13. Tentatively titled "Soul Surfer," the biopic is the inspirational tale of how Hamilton, now 19, got back on the professional surfing circuit just months after losing her limb. Underwood plays Sarah Hill, a youth counselor at Hamilton's church whose friendship and support played a huge role in the surfer's unlikely comeback. "Sarah has been my best friend since I was very young," Hamilton told People. "After my shark attack, she always knew what to say to push me on." The film is being shot on Oahu's north shore and stars Anna Sophia Robb as Hamilton, Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt as her parents, and Lorraine Nicholson - Jack's kid - as another of Hamilton's good friends. I thought maybe I missed an incident where she was attacked by the paps and it scared her or something. As for her ring, I think it's gorgeous. I love it. It looks like a canary yellow diamond and the setting is classic and beautiful.

I'm not sure she's ever really dealt with how in your face they are in Miami and LA. I personally think that shit should be illegal. I don't think they should be able to get within 100 feet of them. Carrie herself said she doesn't like to go out in public without full makeup on and it's obvious from the pictures where you can see her face that she isn't in her usual full spackle mode! I think it was a very reasonable explanation.
