Was BIKINI BOY pledging a frat or something? That was the only conceivable reason for him to do that. Or maybe he was on a controlled substance. I don't know. Whatever it was, it was the most ridiculous thing that I have ever seen on American Idol.
Worse, he wasn't even that cute. Even worse, Mankini on The Soup does it a lot better. Other than that, this was a fairly good episode. The sob stories were kept to a minimum, and there were some good talents. Next season, there had better be a smoking-hot gay guy who auditions buck naked. That alone will help the ratings. Barring that, when they say that they're going to have a naked person on the show, they had better follow through with that shit.

The fucking sob stories practically wrecked an otherwise decent episode, even if they weren't as bad ones from previous weeks. I hope they tone down this shit when they get to Hollywood.
Re the singers: none of the guys tonight was very good. Kimberly Kerbow and Tori Kelly are likely to be early Hollywood casualties as well. I like Danelle Hayes but her voice reflects the hard times she's seen all too well. One Jackie Thom was quite enough. They saved the best for last. Heliumvoice girl and Hayley Vaughn both sounded fine. There never has been a famous female black country singer--so why shouldn't Hayley be the first? (note for trivia buffs: Hayley Vaughn is also the name of the character played by Kelly Rippa when she was on All My Children). Simon is right--it's a nice change from all the blacks singing Mary J. Blige (which also gets in a shot at his ex-protege Lil from last season, BTW).

Oh hell no, Danelle sounds nothing like Jackie "20 packs a day" Tohn. I think she was all emotional at her audition and lost some of the control she has over her voice b/c if you watch her Youtube videos she sounds amazing. Jackie sucked ass and was a retard, Danielle is awesome.
