What I am thinking now is that alt time is maybe flashbacks but still everyone comes back to the island a third time? Third times the charm? I don't know LOL The reason I wonder that is because they land in LAX in 2004 but they appear to be in 2007 on the island.

managerr, yeah I do have that question but for now I'm gonna go with alt universes.. I'm simple.
TSO - On island, Sayid is still Sayid. Ben is Ben. The 77 group flashed to the same present time as UnLocke, Ilana, Sun, Frank, etc. ALL of them. All in the same timeline on island now. Sayid was healed like little Ben was healed and there will be repercussions I'm sure. idg any new timeline Sayid/Ben stuff |

The creators of Lost said they were heavily influenced byThe Dark Tower saga and I can see why. For anyone who has read those books and watches the show, I predict the LAX stuff and what will probably follow(I think Jack is going to fix Locke so he is able to walk in this new alternate reality among other things) juxtaposed with what's going on on the island is like what was happening with Roland and Jake in The Waste Lands where they were each going insane with the knowledge of two realities, two sets of memories in their heads.
I think the passengers on Oceanic 815 are gonna start having something similiar happen...maybe not go insane but some sort of feeling that things aren't quite right. Which will lead somehow to the blending of the two realities at the end. Of course, I could be way off base. Since I don't read the spoilers |
