Clearly the M.I.B. getting off the island is bad news. So once he's stopped, the timeline will no longer have any importance. It's not necessary anymore. You could have it right, but I never thought that anything in Lost was as predictable as guessing the entire ending from watching the first episode of the finale. Many others have many other credible theories that are very different from yours. We shall see...

Aliens? Future people who ended up back there trapped somehow? Is fake Locke the devil wanting to get back into heaven? That's the first thing that came to mind when he said that.

I highly doubt this will become clear for awhile. Not a spoiler. Just sayin'. I'm not gonna kill myself trying to figure out something we probably won't know til the end.. or close to the end. Which is good? Which is bad? It might seem one way now, but not end that way. Confetti would fly outta my head if I fixated on something we're not supposed to know yet. jmo.

Wouldn't the Dharma stations be built anyway regardless of whether or not the Losties were there? Wouldn't the hatch still exist? They didn't cause that problem that led to the hatch being needed to release pressure. I'm a lil confused about that part.
