Mackie was pretty brilliant, although I personally think Brian Geraghty was better. And Molina was definitely snubbed (but I think the most overlooked perf. in An Education is Rosamund Pike). Especially considering Matt Damon was nominated for doing nothing.

From that list I agree about the guys they mentioned especially Chiwetel Ejiofor he was great in Kinky Boots,Dirty Pretty Things,Talk To Me,Redbelt and Serenity. Perhaps in 10-15 years when him and Joseph Gordon Levitt start phoning in their performances in Baity roles they will be perennial Oscar noms the way Sean Penn and Johnny Depp have become when almost all their great performances were in the 80s/90s.

How the fuck is Anna Kendrick oscar snubbed when Up in the Air is her first oscar-worthy role? She hasn't lost yet...

Dakota Fanning?
Meh she is talented! Scarlett<33333333 Joseph<3333333 Jeff <33333333 Emily<33333333 Colin<3333333 Wow I agree with half of the list! My personal snubs Demi Moore (GHOST) Richard Gere (Chicago, Pretty Women, Unfaithful) Jim Carrey (Man on the moon, Eternal Sunshine) Bruce Willis (The 6th Sense) Cameron Diaz (Vanilla Sky, Gangs of New York) Jennifer Lopez (Selena) Ellen Degeneres (Finding Nemo) Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday and True Lies) |

I was reading the Emily Blunt part and I didn't like this part
She’s not Mo’Nique (who was great in Precious, by the way) — this isn’t a one-and-done actress. |

Well Mo'nique and Lee Daniels are trying to get the Hattie Mcdaniel story on the big screen. So maybe she can get in if that ever gets made, but honestly I see it as a HBO tv movie of the month.

That'll be cool, she can finally win a EMMY<3
Then she would have won the important acting awards! |

The Evening Star (1996) - Miranda Richardson (I)Such an under-rated film. Dont know if its Oscar worthy, but still funny/sad as hell. |

im just annoyed someone like matt damon got in over anthony mackie. its like really now. ughhh.
and no offense but like midnightproblay said... i dont get the laurent love. she had these dead dismal eyes throughout the entire movie..the only part where she shined was the ending which i as well ironically laughed at. <333 the ending. diane kruger on the other hand i thought was much better and played a range of emotions from happiness to fear etc etc. and i could look at the previews and tell julianne moore was great in her role as well.... i havent seen maggie g. in crazy heart to determine if shes worthy. btw i can look at the trailer of a single man and tell it was snubbed for SOMETHING. it looks visually amazing. same for 500 days of summer. |

I'd place a bet on the fact that Beyonce will be nominated for an acting award within the next 10 years.
