I think as Juliet was dying she got a glimpse of bizarro universe and that's something she was saying to someone in said universe. That's how she knows/thinks "it worked"

Sorry for the Jack lovers around here, but I was right there with Sawyer in his blaming Jack for this mess and wanting to kick his ass and/or kill Jack for what happened. When will Jack learn that he can never do anything right the first time and should just shut up and quit trying to be a "hero"? Because of his "heroics" he went and ruined Sawyer's great new life, killed Juliet and killed Sayid. And Kate, you stupid bitch whore, get the fuck away from Sawyer! Of course he doesn't want your help to bury the woman he loved, you stupid insensitive cun*!! I hope Sawyer somehow bumps into Juliet in the alternative time line. However, since it is angry vengeful con man Sawyer I don't think he'll realize that she was the true love of his life.

Can't say the same for Sawyer when he conned all kinds of people out of money and might have caused suicides (just like his own parents), he killed an innocent man, squished Hurley's froggie, put Charlie up to fakenapping Sun, then offered a junkie drugs as payment. I love Sawyer, too. I just don't understand why he's so damn perfect and never hated. I think people who don't like Jack will never like him no matter what. No objectivity. And CINDI, don't say I'm not objective. I'm not mad at Sawyer for being pissed right now. I understand. I can understand how he feels and how Jack feels at the same time.

Jack is self-loathing too, but in a different way. When he first debuted, the character was self-righteous and mr. morals, everyone around him constantly disappointed himself because they couldn't live up to his high standard. (He pretty much was doing to everyone else what his father did to him) The character has grown some, but memories linger on.

That's very speculative. What he did do is try to explode a hydrogen bomb so he could have another chance with Kate. That was his only motive. He had no idea what the consequences might be if he changed things...only that Daniel said it would work. Whatever that meant.

And also the fact that Sawyer has changed quite a bit and had let go of that anger and settled down over the last 3 years. Unfortunately, Jack is still making rash decisions without thinking about the consequences to everyone else.

An argument could be made that what Jack did is what caused the island to be underwater, since it is underwater in the new timeline that was created due to Jack throwing the bomb down the hole. In my eyes, Jack killed Juliet, Sayid and the Island. All because Kate broke his widdle heart and Jack was vewy, vewy sad.

Maybe that's how it appears now. Jack wasn't brought on the show to be the village idiot. He's making a difference somehow, though I doubt very many people will give him props even if he died saving Sawyer or something of the sort. Jack killed Juliet, Sayid, the island, etc?
