he probably means singles and please lets not act as if Adam PWNED the shit like Susan Boyle did, given how much promotion he had, those are shitty album sales! you think he means single sales? week 11 for Adam's single (49,000, -17 percent, 373,000) week 11 for Kris' single 27,641 (-12%, 214,308 total) Week 11 for Adam's album 505K week 12 for kris' album 255K This continued nonsense that Adam is selling like shit is just beyond ridiculous at this point. Find something else to bash him for because honestly, the sales argument is an epic fail on y'all's part for real. |

So, how's sales going For Your Entertainment and Time for Miracles? Must be close to platinum by now right? They were released around the same time as Allen's LLWD, I think.

Glitter and Blueberry (and a few others), can I just start issuing time-outs for fantarding this thread? I've run out of ways to word the same warning. You know the one: This isn't the fantard thread, fantard elsewhere, etc.?

I've really not been keeping track of any of the past Idol's sales (especially since the majority don't have much). Adam aside, is 255k a good number at this point for an Idol winner?

No, 255K is a shit number for an Idol winner. And Adam's number are actually pretty shitty too. He's selling behind Archie of last year and that's with an Oprah appearance which is usually a golden ticket for sales. The album will probably fall out of the Top 50 this week.
LLWD is selling well though. It's sold more than all of Adam's three singles combined.

Both of them are shitty album sales, it's just that one is less shittier than the other.
LLWD is doing decently as a single, but compared to previous Idol singles, it completely pales in comparison. |

That's 255k in digital sales for LLWD, right?

does anyone have any info on how gokey's shiteous single, "the best years of my life are still ahead of me" (no disrespect to Sophia Gokey) doing? I have not seen it on any of the charts, so I assume it can't be doing too well:)

Thanks for the list of sales. Jordin Sparks has done pretty amazing selling those singles.

The fact remains that Adam's sales have remained pretty consistent over the course of this era so far.
Billboard positions for Idol albums the numbers are this week/last week/two weeks ago/weeks on chart
