Posts: 1486 (02/04/10 12:22 AM) Registered user More Recent Posts	1) we got to hear 12 people sing who made it thru. That may be a record for a one hour audition episode. This is what the final audition show should do...show us LOTS of people who will then be featured in the Hollywood rounds. 2) most of the singers were quite good, too. I wouldn't be surprised if 3 or 4 people who make the top 12 were seen for the first time tonight. 3) has anybody noticed that Lacey Brown was allowed to try again even though she had made it all the way to the chair episode? Obviously they changed the rules about who could compete--and amazingly, it actually improves things. It's always been really stupid that the best rejects couldn't come back, even though the public never had a chance to vote on them. 4) A lot of the contestants tonight reminded me very much of recent previous finalists. Didi Benami reminds me of Brooke, Aaron Kelly reminds me of Archie, Lew Dewyze reminds me of Kris Allen, etc. 5) Amanda Schechtman has a good voice and great body. I am gonna be pissed when she gets cut in Hollywood anyway. 6) Joe Jonas STILL hasn't said anything besides "yeah."

At least a few seasons ago I thought I read Top 44/50 could come back. That said I think they should change it so semi-finalists could come back. CI allowed semi-finalists to re-audition and a bunch have come back and 2 people actually made the semis twice in different seasons. I guess with the way AI works though they don't want semis fodder to come back b/c they were meant to be fodder and never make the finals anyway. Assholes. There's been good people who just drew the short straw in the semis I guess who I'd like to see back.
