Oh, definitely continue with the ratings. They may be a bit colored but that happens every season. I'm just saying that for those who are unspoiled, be VERY wary of reading anyone's winner picks, especially in these early episodes when there's not much to go on, really. |

Based on the past few seasons, I think the early Edgic system of waiting until Episode 5 before really looking at who the winner could be may be best. I'm definitely not eliminating anyone until then, unless they're overly OTT or INV, or inconsequential to the story.

Certainly better to be one of the featured players than not. Jerri, Steph, Cirie, Parvati Colby, Rupert, Tom, Coach, Russell Did I forget any commentators who are playing in S20? |

The show doesn't premiere until next week, it doesn't matter what they showed this week. Honestly, lets say Danielle won this season, you really think they would waste time on her for the 10th year special? |

Honestly, lets say Danielle won this season, you really think they would waste time on her for the 10th year special?That's just an extension of the principle that boring girls don't necessary fit edgic well if they win (Natalie etc). If Boston Rob or JT or Sandra or Sugar won, you'd expect more from them. |

Since we have like 5 days left I'm gonna go ahead and post my predictions:
Candice: UTR1 Cirie: MOR Steph: CPP3 (Jeff commented on how she was more of a villain in Guat, and how she's back on the heroes tribe where she belongs makes me believes she'll be positive) Amanda: UTRN2 (She's apparently a $!@@ outside the game, she could be a villain easily) Sugar: OTTN4 (Going off that GIF with her topless flipping off the villains, it was so trashy) Colby: OTTP3/CPP3 (His attitude pre-game is so positive, and Probst wouldn't let him become a villain) James: MORP2 (He'll probably get a P from positive SPV from his tribe about being a sexy black guy and raping the challenges) JT: MORN2 (He played a really strategic game, not much of a problem with being ruthless and he's kind of a hick so I could see him being a Hero to a Villain) Rupert: OTTP5 (I can't see them making their biggest hero a villain despite the theme) Tom: MOR2 Russell: CPN5 (Surprise, surprise) Boston Rob: CPP3 (I see him being one of the villains becoming a hero, him being a dad now and all) Randy: UTRN2 Tyson: UTRN2 (Him and Randy will probably both just say a few snarky things and not do a whole lot in the premiere) Coach: OTTN5 Courtney: UTR1 Sandra: MORP2 (Jeff said we might like her more after this season, P) Jerri: CPN3 (Not sure about CP, just kind of a guess, but I'm pretty sure she'll be N, she talked about embracing her $!@@ within and they tried maker her P in ASS and it failed) Parvati: CPP4 (They built her up so much last night, and in a positive light as well) Part of my predictions were looking at which Heroes become Villains and vice versa, as Jeff Probst has said that's the theme of the season, so I was looking at who would stay the same, and who would change. I don't expect there to be all that tone in the first episode, but for some people, the tone I put was for how I think they will be overall, or in future episodes. Though it will probably just be everyone UTR except Russ, Coach and Rupert.

The problem with spoilers and the spoiled goes way back for Edgic. KQ gave his blessing to an unspoiled thread years ago, but it never took off. This thread sucked the life out of it. Let's face it, Edgic is one of the best places to read and discuss analysis of a Survivor season. We've sucked the life out of nearly all of Spec. And despite the increased amount of fan-ish participation, we manage to still include some of the Edgic spirit of old. Like I said, spoilers have plagued us almost since the beginning and we haven't stopped. So, ... Ready to make an ASS of yourselves for another season? S-20 Edgic (editing and logic) "The Return of ASS", will open its doors tomorrow evening for Warrior, Phoenix, and Kitty Pryde to install their Page1 reference posts. Please don't start using the S-20 thread until that's been accomplished. We will continue to use this thread (S-19) until Monday evening, when this thread will officially be retired.

I'm not doing strategy ratings this semester, or anymore, really. I know MDN worked hard on them for many seasons, but I just don't think we're gonna get much out of analyzing the strategy portion. Todd screwed things up and Natalie screwed things up.
