She was way cute. And I thought her dress was very sexy, although technically it was nothing special. She has a nice little figure.
It was very hard for me to understand her speaking voice but my dog (who was able to pick up more of it, though some was too high for HIM) told me she might have an Italian accent. If they ever said WHY she was in Florence, I didn't catch that either.
Her singing voice was probably the best of the Denver singers. She was a middle soprano, which shows how much lower it was than her speaking voice. |

Yikes! She has a polished, professionally made, mildly slutty video (albeit of a mediocre song). And to think she seemed genuinely sweet from what we saw of her (though I had my doubts--the average 22 year old can't just "fly in" from Florence, Italy to audition). I was right to have some doubts. She is a phony of the highest order and quite possibly a plant as well.
Nicole Palmeri is presumably her real name. Nicci Nix is a dumb stage name (used because Nikki Cox was already taken?). Yeah, it does sound like a porno actress. They got more sensitive about having plants on the show in season 8. So I think there's a good chance that, like multiple felon Anthony Skiboski, we simply won't see her again, or at least not on Idol.

She's a media whore, not really a plant. Going a bunch of C-List reality shows basically says (to me) that she is working hard to try and make it. She hasn't been signed to a huge deal before like Carly was.
Her main problem, unfortunately , is her lack of singing ability. |
