When Hope tells Bo she wants solel custody of Ciara because of Bo and living with a murderer, I literally laughed my ass off - here she is living in a house with a woman who wants a young girl dead, buried that woman alive along with a mutitude of other sins, and man who was a King Pin drug dealer who most likely had hits put out on several people, (not to mention his misdeeds of the 80s and 90s) and his son who put a hit out on EJ. Poor Henderson - it's a wonder someone hasn't put a hit out on him.

 Alice was one of a kind, I still remember the salem stalker stuff when Marlena killed her with cupcakes? I always thought that was funny! Alice<3 R.I.P Frances!

Sad, sad news. I guess the era had already ended, but it is the end of the chapter where Days was truly a quality daytime program.
I had forgotten that Julie even had a son - was it Scott or David Banning - I am thinking David was the dad of the kid, no? Whew, that was a loooong, loooong time ago. |

That is sad news. They really DO need to devote an entire episode to her if there's any justice.Well, I hope so, but I'd love to see several episodes. Frances Reid deserves that! And none of this crap going on impinging on her episodes....just stuff about her. |

I always forget about Doug and Julie. She probably is the longest recurring character still appearing and Bill Hayes I think is older than Joe.
Not that excited about the return of Adrienne. Justin & Adrienne were a major snooze fest. Always preferred Bonnie. Interesting that Vivian daydreamed poisoning Melanie and Kate took the gift. Sounds like a perfect way to pin things on Kate, so she'll finally pay despite it being for a crime she didn't commit. |

I'm so sad to hear about Ms. Reid's passing. She was an icon in this crapfest of a show. I wouldn't care if they devoted an entire week of episodes to Alice, showing flashbacks and eulogies from characters past and present. She deserves a grand send off.
Rafe is getting on my last nerve. Anna should have told him to fuck off when he was grilling her at the apartment. I like seeing Vivian's struggle with her feelings for Melanie and her determination to off her. It's nice when characters are more than a straight cartoon villian/hero and Vivian is defo a complex character. So evil but so likable. |

So incredibly sad. Watching DAYS was a huge part of growing up with my grandmother, all through the summer months, and having her recap the show for me over dinner during the rest of the year (pre-VCR). It's such a shame what's been going on with the whole Horton family remnants over the past few years, so they had better give Frances a fitting tribute.

i got such a giggle out of the scene with sami/ej/johnny at the mansion. when sami said "ej, don't get him all riled up before bedtime", and ej was holding sami and called sami a 'worry wart', johnny repeated 'worry wart' with a british accent! it was subtle but hysterical!

That little Johnny is a hoot!! I can't get over the how close James Scott is to his children on the show - he and Sydney melt my heart and the boy who play Johnny obviously adores him.

i read an article some time ago that said the babies that play Sydney - one really took to James Scott and the other not so much, she was kind of afraid of him! So when they needed a 'crying' sydney scene, they used that twin; when they needed a 'happy' sydney scene, they used the other!
