His CD has been out 2 1/2 months and he spent 2 months of that in the 30's on the Canadian album chart. So far, I'd say that isn't very successful by anyone's standards.

Carrie hasn't been hugely successful when it comes to record sales in Canada this era. I expect she'll sell tickets well though when she is touring again.

I'd say he's doing well, especially for an Idol artist. Kanadians don't embrace actually buying much Idol stuff unless you won Star Academie or a big name like Kelly.

His album is actually good and I'm impressed by the sound.
with that said, I would love for him to tank but I have to give the glitterman credit, good music. But im off buying c.d. for a long ass time so I'm not adding to his sales. :) Number 8 on the charts might be like 4,500-5,500 c.d.s sold which is the equivalent of 45,000-55,000 cd.s in U.S. numbers.

I agree about it being a personal taste think miki and totally get where you're coming from.
I try to look at the music separately from the person because honestly if I only bought music from people I thought were nice I'd have like three or four artists I buy music from LOL. |
