I love how he starts on a minor scale key at the begining... kinda like a heroy villiany thing that isn't too much in your face. I think it was actually pretty epic... I like it better than the previous two cause its not so cluttered with crap that doesn't need to be in it.

I absolutely love how the chanting starts with lower mens voices then completely starts over with voices more like what we're used to. Don't like the rattle at the beginning - as someone else said, he's used that a lot recently. Its very powerful I think. I love the lower male voice that does a lot of the extra chanting, and how it contrasts with the higher voice.

I quite like it, especially the beginning where it sorta... builds on top of itself.
I think it could be more epic though, rather than whimsical. Have that build-up where its like... a 'round' of those few bars, but with some epic shite. Then it would be awesome. |

It definitely feels like a whimsical theme, but like all these intro shots are going to come from physical challenges which seems to the be the dominant theme this season. Usually the intros make the music seem better, but I just don't see it matching up well. Anger, strength, power faces mixed with fairy night elves in a forest music.

Micronesia was the last good theme he made. While some of the others were OKAY, they felt really half assed, like he took a bunch of old sound clips and threw them together in 2 days before the deadline CBS gave him after he finished smoking his last bud. I mean seriously... there were two ways to go wtih this one and only two ways: Full orchestral remake of the original or completely new themesong from scratch. This was the time to reinvent the show going into the next decade.
