Well, they put up a picture of JT for "likable winners" and Sandra for "unlikable winners" both being the hero and villain representatives not featured in the Surviving Survivor thing, so maybe that's what they were doing (likable=hero, unlikable=villain, even when it's not necessarily the case). Especially considering that the other hero/villain winners were featured on the show (Parvati for the villains, Tom for heroes)

Likable - people with good edits. Sometimes overrated assholes such as JT.

"Surviving Survivor" was excellent, with lots of previews of what's to come next week, on the premiere!
It was quite touching that at the end, the last thought was in memory of Jennifer Lyon. From SurvivorFever: Jennifer Lyon - Survivor Palau |

Eh the only reasoning I can get for the preview was that they basically chose themost well known players to commentary.
Parv/Cirie/Steph/Jerri are the most well known females of this cast. Rupert/Russell/Colby/Tom/James/Coach are the most well known males and they all had a speaking portion. |

If the fact that they completely ignored Sandra last night is any indication that Parvati wins this season, I will fucking barf barf barf!

If you noticed, of the people interviewed, Tom, Stephenie, Cirie, and James seemed to be shown the least.

I'm so glad Parvati wins after watching the special last night <3

They have an entire season to portray Sandra as an undeserving winner the first time who emerges as a deserving winner this time. I don't know who wins, none of us do...but I actually thought that helped her chances. I think your view is a bit too obvious. |

It's weird that Elisabeth agreed to be interviewed. I thought she just preferred ignoring the show.

The special focused on the same people the PCA preview and the early ads did: Russell, Coach, Rupert, Parvati, Jerri and Colby. Seems like they will be big this season.

I was actually pissed off that they put Sandra as 'unlikeable winner'. But I guess the only 2 winners on the villains/ 'unlikeable' side were Parv and Sandra.
Of course they would not pick the pretty young Parv as being unlikeable, so by default Sandra was our only unlikeable winner. The only 2 winners on the villains team. Which brings up the point, have we not had a true male villain win Survivor since Thailand?? yikes.. I guess that is why Russell has gotten so much exposure, he has been the closest villain to winning in a long while. |
