both players dominated their seasons and controlled their alliance to the very end, they had everyone in their alliance thinking they were going to the F2 with them and not once did anyone in their alliance try to overthrow them, both got screwed over by a bitter jury that let their hurt feelings and emotions get in the way of seeing what a dominant game they both played, so lets have a discussion of which one was more deserving to win based on how they played the game.

Rob, because Russell lost 7-2 (a blowout) while Rob lost by a single vote.  Russell fails to understand that there are 2 phases to the game, first to make it to the finals and second to earn jury votes.  Russell didn't even try to win jury votes and most of the jury simply didn't like how Russell played the game (too much unnecessary lying).  Other than Jaison and maybe John, Russell did not backstab anyone else on the jury, so they did not vote against him out of bitterness.  Rob lost 2 votes (Lex and Big Tom) because of bitterness and he was unlucky.  Had they not decided at the last minute to do that bizarre tribal shuffle (it was a last minute decision because they had ah individual Reward challenge just before the merger), Lex would have voted for Rob and he would have won.
