Vanuatu had a really bad start (Brady's boot was one of the most boring eps I've ever seen from a show), but after the tribe switch it got significantly better and became genuinely really good. I don't see how anyone can accuse Chris of being a bad winner though. I'm pretty sure if he was young and beautiful and/or had a vagina people would think more highly of him.

Casual viewers don't like Vanuatu because it doesn't have a fan favourite and they hid the people who had that potential (Julie, Chad). That's why they were sure to emphasise Steph, Cirie, Aitu 4, Yau Man and the like in every season since.

So funny that when this seasno aired I thought it was AWFUL!!!!! And I don't know why. I think it had to do with all the preview videos, they all seemed like they had never seen the show or hillbillies. Totaly turned off.
But then when I watched it on DVD years later I loved it and wonder the exact same thing. It is a really good season actually, awesome gameplay and lots of drama. |

Vanuatu is such a B.A. season. Chris is up there with Heidik in terms of the best winners that weren't named Dicque.
Obviously everything Royry did was just golden. Pulling out the fruit in the middle of his scolding from Sarge...going off on CLASSLESS Mia...LOOOOOPEVI! LOOOOOPEVI!.....I"m a GROWN ASS MAN....I'm just looking for a fissure, a little crack.... Scout's assinine ramblings are classic Survivor. Eliza, Ami, that idiot Bubba, Twila.....a great cast. The hottest Survivor chick ever in Julie. Truly the last of the classic Survivor seasons. |

There is no excuse for liking this season. I don't care if you just started watching Survivor, it's the worst.
Winner who'd never watched the show Cast stupid enough to let him win Haves vs Have Nots The dumbest Asians ever on reality tv Dreamz getting screwed in the end No memorable eps or challenges Characters we forgot were even on the show Fuck the underrated seasons, I'm sick of them getting so much love. If those seasons didn't have tragic flaws they would be great. They aren't great, so fuck them dead. Take this girl:  I saw a pic of her recently, couldn't remember where the fuck I knew her from, then it dawned on me - she was the big afro girl from Survivor, and that is ALL I remember about her, not to mention a couple others on the cast. You had the 4 horsemen blindside. 1 half decent moment out of 13 episodes. Shit. Fuck you CBS for even AIRING that season with Pirate Master in the mix. At least somebody from Pirate Master had the good sense to off themselves as they didn't want to be associated with the stench. Cept for Jay from PM, he was robbed. -SJ™ |

i really have to rewatch this season again, ive only seen it twice and ami never made the impact on me that she made on everybody else, no love or hate ther for me :\
i am an eliza fan though :) and chris deserved the win, he was down and out at the family challenge and managed to turn it round, probst seems to hate him though. |
