IMO the biggest mistake by the producers was not including Lex on the cast, he is one of the all time villians on survivor and also one of the best strategic players in survivor history, and if not for some bad luck in both his seasons would have likely won, who else thinks Lex deserved to be on the show?

One of my favorite all-time players. I think he deserved to be on the show, absolutely.
Edited to add: In S3 at (I think) F4, Lex correctly answered an immunity challenge question which would have given him immunity and likely the win. Jeff called his answer wrong, though (it was about whether or not another survivor had piercings or a tattoo, I believe). As it turned out, Lex was correct, but the game had already gone on. Lex was given some sort of recompense after the season ended because of the mistake. Maybe that was why he was asked on to ASS, too.

I'm guessing if Lex were a hero, he would definitely be on.

There's nothing to say Kim wouldn't have won anyway. It's true that Kim J, Lex and Tom were all given $100,000 though. Even if Kim had gone that night, whats to say Tom wouldn't have won the final immunity and voted him out? And Lex wanted to take Ethan to the final two and would probably have lost to him. |

IluvGoddessCirie wrote: The mistake that Probst made was that the answers to the questions were suppose to pertain only to the contestants that all 4 of them had been on the same tribe with at some point in the game (eg. either the original Boran tribe or the merge tribe, Moto Maji since the final 4 all started off on Boran). Probst neglected to tell them that so Lex's answer of "Lindsay", who had never been on the same tribe as Ethan or Kim, was changed from incorrect to correct. |
