I manage to get into the store, sometimes using a cane, and I use the motorized carts, so no tipping over (and I have not used Hamburger Helper since the 70's when it came out. That shit is gross). The cart corral is further away from the parking spots for handicapped parking than the store door. Since I put the cart behind the handicapped sign, it does not obstruct the parking spot. In fact, I think the cart is happy because it gets to join several others that are there waiting to be collected.

I worked in a grocery store when I was in high school...occasionally if someone called out sick I would have to go bring all the carts back to the store. It sucked enough having to do it at night when it was 7 degrees outside without having to spend an extra 20 minutes walking all over the parking lot because people were too lazy to put them in the cart holder.
And stray carts rolling around the parking lot really can fuck up your car. A cart hit the side of my car and dented the area right next to the front passenger door in such a way that you couldn't open said door. Really fucking annoying. |

People who leave their carts in the way of a parking space are animals. CorkySteinbrenner will actually call them out if he sees it happen.
I do, however, leave my popcorn bag and/or drink in the movie theatre. That's my right. |

Best one I saw last night while fighting the crowd at Wegmans to get munchies for "The Big Game in Miami". 450lb. woman who drove the stores hoverround to her car and left it in the lot. Never mind the bold 3 inch The other week I saw a pair both using them, they reminded me of this,

i pulled into my spot at Kroger yesterday and watched a fat asshole let her cart come out of the corral. she just watched fatly as her cart literally crept out (two feet in front of her) of the corral and roll down the hill into the bumper of a parked sebring. she had all the time in the world to stop the thing, but it was like she was curious to see what happened when a cart goes blazing through a crowded parking lot.
was kind of disgusting...i sat in my truck and watched and that fat bastard didn't even look to see if anyone was watching her. ..but, no, i never leave carts in parking spots. because i'm not a piece of shit. |

While I understand the variables that go into not returning a cart (weather, not wanting to leave a kid unattended, inconvenience), how hard is it to trash your popcorn and soda? You quite literally have to walk past a trash can on your way out.
