People who walk down the middle of a row in a parking lot, taking their own sweet time, completely oblivious to cars behind them should be drawn and quartered on the spot. By me.

Bikes are fine on the rare occasions that they follow the law. I getting pissed when they run stop signs and red lights or block traffic by riding in the car lanes instead of the bike lanes.
I also hate drivers who use bike lanes as pass-on-the-right lanes. |

Yesterday when I was coming back from Laguardia airport (NYC) to Jersey...we took the triborough bridge to the Harlem River (the Deegan -87-was fucked) and anyone who knows the Harlem river drive knows that at the end (north bound) to the Geroge Washington bridge it turns to ONE lane to get to the GWB.
Well, of course, we turn our signal to change lane and all the fucking creeps in the right lane sped up to 'not let us in' ...really? Why? you REALLY need in get in front of us that bad for the .2 miles it takes to get to the bridge?? I swear it was a cause for some serious pissing me off. douchebags |

How does people feel about bikers and those who drive monster trucks?

I hate the motorcyclist who rides within one foot the center line and makes passes by moving one additional foot either way. Just because your bike is 2 foot wide dosen't mean you shouldn't be in the middle of a lane.

I was trying to make it to the airport for my flight. I was following a driver that you couldn't see their head, and I wanted to curse them out. When I got a chance to pass them, it was a 90 year old woman that looked just like my grandmother. So the road rage melted, then I had to put the petal to the medal and made my flight!

Cyclists don't buy gasoline, and fuel taxes on gasoline are used to maintain roads. So, they don't have any business being on the road either.

It's especially irritating when they park behind you and wait for you to leave. I'll always plant myself in the driver's seat, turn the car on, and do nothing until they drive past me. |

I totally forgot about this until I read this last page ...
Last week, on the way home from work, I take some back-roads through a neighboring residential area, and on this one street, there are these two little kids (probably 5-7 years old) that are ALWAYS on their bikes in the middle of the road. Usually mom is out there and waves for them to come back to the driveway when people are coming down the road. Well, this little BITCH 5-7 year old was out there with her brother and mom was nowhere to be seen ... I slow WAY down, because they were in the road ... As I start to slowly pass by, the little BITCH starts inching her way toward the middle of the road - LOOKING RIGHT AT ME - I stop ... SHE KEEPS ON GOING, like she knows I have to stop and she's the boss of me or something. Then she finally goes back over to the side of the road with her brother and they LAUGH AT ME!!! NEXT TIME I"M RUNNING THAT STUPID BITCH OVER - I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL!!!!!!!!! |

Cleofuss wrote: Major X for that one. I sometimes see ladies who will stop right in front of the store and go through their purse for a couple of minutes, completely unaware that we're waiting for her to move. How is it any different from stopping right in the middle of the road? Oh that's right, people go slow in a parking lot so they'll stop and won't run you over. Also people, mostly families, who take their sweet time getting everything settled in the van while you have to wait until they're done to get out of your car, otherwise you'd be slamming them with your door. I often think about doing it too. |

drivers that are overly nice, traffic is flowing smoothly and they practically stop to let someone pull out from a side street in front of them. The people pulling out aren't expecting it so the overly nice guy has to flash their lights etc. Oh, here, everyone behind me can slam on their brakes while I be nice and let you go, c'mon go ahead, no really go, go ahead we'll all wait.....
while I'm waiting forever to make a left out of my street why does a jogger or someone on a bike reach me right when I get an opening to turn? don't walk down the middle of the parking aisle, don't drive the wrong way on the one-way aisles and dear God do you really have to wait for someone to start their car and pull out so you can get their spot when there's another open spot 2 spots from there? will 20 feet of exercise kill ya? the horn in my son's car doesn't work and good god every time I drive that piece of junk I end up screaming on the top of my lungs now I'm all stressed out |

Oh, I WILL next time. I also thought about getting out of the car and asking for their (usually present) mother and getting the little shits in trouble.

Don't get out of the car, that can only end bad. Just say you didn't see them. Lean on the horn, that will have the parents come running. If the parents come running, tell them they darted out on the road.

Kurthi76 wrote:Sorry to break it to you, but motorcycle schools teach this. If you have 2 lanes going in one direction then you stick close to the lane divider. This gives you more visibility, and makes it less likely that a car will change into your lane if you are right next to the line rather than in the middle, and also gives you more room to maneuver if some idiot does anyway. If there are 3 lanes going in 1 direction, then when you are in the middle lane, you should also be in the middle of the lane, not against the line. |

I hate the people that can turn fast. Today at a red light turning left, we got a green arrow that goes pretty quick and it's a long light. Well everyone in front of me apparently thought they were riding a waterslide, because they had to make sure the person in front of them made it through the intersection before they would go. They can't just drive on a curve, they pulled up, stopped, then went. Drove me nutso.
