I actually really liked that update, I've always felt that Tom was extremely overrated and only got to the end because of immunites and yet Sucks is in love with him for some reason. And yes his final tribal was good for manipulating the jury but I agree with CR he comes across very vile/arrogant. If Tom had been in the minority then Tom would have been Terry before we even had him.

Sugar played a great game until the final 6. The only people she even had a chance of beating were Crystal and Susie. She votes Crystal out, fine. Who knows, it could be a final two? Then, she targets Susie at the final 4 because Bob and Matty are more deserving. I was pissed off she voted out Crystal and Ken, but we knew she was not trying to win at that point. She didn't even try to win at the final TC. If you aren't playing the game to win, you aren't playing for the right strategic reasons that we are judging everyone else on. If you aren't trying to win, then everyone who actually tried to win should be higher than you.

I could be biased because I'm one of the few who likes Sugar, but I'm trying to be objective here. Also, why does Tom come off as vile and arrogant for some people? He was manipulative but I've never seen him as arrogant (even though he's not modest either), he was pretty nice all around. Well, each to their own, I guess! |

And I would have voted for Katie I think over Tom because she was more proactive strategically even if her plans didn't work, because Tom never had plans that weren't him/Ian/Katie to the end. Plus I kind of have the same attitude about people that Katie does so even if Tom really is "nice" it comes off looking really fake to me. |

Steph would be loyal to him, but it looks like Steph would be loyal to anyone willing to keep her when she was in the position she was. She didn't have an ally and I guess she would have agreed with anything to stay on the game. Maybe that's why Tom voted her out, but that's speculation of my part. It's always easy to look things in hindsight, after all. Just see all those people saying Candice's game sucked!Axie wrote:Glad we can at least agree to disagree. <3JackSparrowBauer wrote:X |

Tom's placement is accurate. The title clearly says strategically in capital letters, and Tom's strategic game only took him to fourth place, and that's not even counting the fact that Koror dominated in the challenges. Sugar was a better strategist. I disagree with CR a lot, but I completely agree here.
Also, Chris's FTC was not the best ever. Ami and Scout totally saw through that. The other five probably still would've voted for Chris even without an FTC. Ami might've too.

Thailandsurvivor wrote: X. CR, no offense or anything, but you putting Sugar in the top 10 is definitely biased. Objectively, she wasn't even not trying to win, she was ACTIVELY trying to NOT win. You say Steph threw her game away, but Sugar did it worse. So the fact that Sugar wasn't trying to win puts her in the top 10, while since Steph IS trying to win, she's 3rd from last? That's backwards. When someone is actively trying to not win, that is not good gameplay, that is retarded and irrational gameplay.

I'm still gonna give CR a chance to explain his Sugar placement before attacking it and calling him biased like others are.

I'm pretty positive I know CR's rationale for ranking Sugar this high. If I'm wrong, then I stand corrected.
When is the next update?

Sugar was a GREAT player in that she was able to go from most pathetic and un-picked at a tribal switch into THE power-broker of Gabon. People did what she wanted, and all thought she was their friend and ally.
People just got Sugarenvious as she voted them out: Old Kota, then Old Fang. She brought two clear old UTR borewhores with her to the finals -- not to mention borewhores who fucked people over, too (Susie fucked the Kotas and then Ken/Crystal and Bob screwed over Randy and was never a strategist). Fang wouldn't vote a Kota and Kota would vote a Kota. But taking Matty or Kenny to the finals would have been an auto-loss for Sugar, too. Keeping Crystal in would have given Ken/Crystal the power -- with Susie -- to potentially cut Bob AND her own damn self. She's not be total brills and had a shit FTC performance, but Sugar > Amanda (either season) all day long.
