Danielle, I feel, kind of got a bad reputation because she was seen as the least worthy member of that final four. Okay, that was probably true, and looking back, I think that she would have lost easily to any of the three (Aras, Cirie, and Terry) she faced. But, however, look at that final four: you had Terry, who was, like him or not, physically dominant in challenges as well as having some votes in his pocket from the LaMina tribe that was Pagonged. You had Cirie, who is renowned as an excellent strategist with a good social game, and you had Aras, who didn't really make enemies aside from Shane and I guess Bruce, held a strong alliance with Cirie, and did manage to beat Terry in a few challenges (mostly reward.) Danielle didn't realize that, by voting off Shane and Courtney, she was voting off all of the goats... which meant that, by default, Danielle herself had become the goat to take to the end. Cirie had the game plan to "get rid of the goats", that is to say, get rid of Courtney as an escape parachute for Shane, Terry, and Danielle to take to the end. Similarly, voting off Shane accomplished a similar feat. However, in doing that, Cirie got Danielle to vote off everyone she could beat, and aside from Bruce, she didn't really have any allies pulling for her to win it all. Danielle was, essentially, the Keith to Aras and Cirie's Colby and Tina. Cirie painted Danielle into a corner, but then Danielle knew to use Terry to try and propel herself into the final four, and then on to the final immunity challenge, where either man would have taken her to the end. I think Danielle did the best she could in the endgame of that season considering that she had voted off everyone she had a chance of beating.
