True Blood Has Found Its Debbie Pelt
EW's Michael Ausiello has gotten on his blow horn and is screaming that Alan Ball has cast the role of Debbie Pelt in season 3 of True Blood. After auditioning a ton of ladies, the role has gone to Brit Morgan who was in The Middleman and a movie called Beer for My Horses, which is going to magically find its way onto my Netflix queue. In the books, Debbie Pelt is described as a psycho bitch who becomes Sookeh's arch rival. Alan said Debbie will be featured more in the TV show than she was in the books. I didn't read the books, because why bother when you can watch Alexander Skarsgard's nipples act everything out for you. Taken from D-listed. Don't know how to put it on here fully, but, at least I can see the face of the actress, with a haircut and recolor, I can see it!

Ug. I don't like that.
He's already monopolized so much time in LOST, I'd be afraid he'd do the same to True Blood. |

Nice pic, Wolcott.
Any news on how many episodes were getting this season? I would think with its popularity, they would at least extend it to 15 at most. Anything more than that might be too much. |
|||
GrenadeJumper85 |

I think it's still only 12 episodes. I haven't heard anything saying otherwise.

Yeah, i'm hearing 12.

Calvin Norris has been cast:
True Blood Season 3 Casting News: Meet Calvin Norris March 11, 2010 by Ollie Chong aka AdoreBill New True Blood Season 3 casting news regarding the casting of Calvin Norris who set to be played by Gregory Sporleder. You will recall in casting calls for Calvin Norris, he is described as a big, rugged, bare-chested man in his 40s, but there is something more about him. SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW! In the book series Calvin Norris is another
supernatural being that we are going to meet. In Calvin’s
case he is part of the were community but specially a were-panther.
Now is Alan going to go along this route or not we will
have to wait and see, but we will be first introduced to him in Episode
2, “Beautifully Broken” where we will see him
upset when the police arrive with a warrant to search his rundown
trailer. According to the casting call Calvin will be a
strong recurring character. Audiences may recognize Mr. Sporleder from his many appearances in film and television including his work in “The Crazies,” “Black Hawk Down”, and “The Rock”. SOURCE: HBO (Photo credit: retrojunk.com) |
