For those who have not seen or don't enjoy zombie movies, please check this out. Why this was ignored for any awards yet "The Hangover" was even nominated is just beyond belief. This is not a horror movie. It is actually a love story. And to top it off ... Bill Murray plays himself AND "Little Miss Sunshine" has a gun! You get everything, storytelling, effects and sexy stars! WATCH IT! RENT IT! BUY IT!

Agreeance...Zombieland is a hidden gem. It scared off a lot of people who thought it was a zombie movie; the zombies are incidental, it might as well be vampires or aliens. It has a lot of genuine comedy and genuine heart.
Hangover WAS better though. |

Excellent question! It has perplexed film scholars for years, but it would appear a consensus has finally been reached. Here is the answer:
Watch the movie Executive Decision. Pay close attention to Steven Seagal's role in that movie. If a role in a movie is less involved than that, it is a cameo. If it at that same level of involvement or slightly more, it is a small role. ywia. Oh, and Zombieland was approximately 546 times better than The Hangover. |

Bill Murray's role isn't a cameo, not even close. It's an unadvertised role. A cameo is a walk-on. He has many lines and a few scenes. |

It wasn't a waste of time. I enjoyed it, but the end sucked.. like someone ripped the last chapter out of the book.. big deal. Anyone could hack this pulp. I have to agree that Murray's part was a highlight of the movie.
Speaking of small parts... Segal's role in 'Executive Decision' was probably the best acting that I've seen him do. It actually moved me (a little). |

The movie is supposed to be pulpy, I thought. All zombie movies are. The script was originally intended to be the pilot for a TV show so that affected the ending.
I did laugh a lot in the first half hour, with the RULES and all. |
