Why are Samoa and Palau rated so high? They weren't that good.
Anyone else think his love of Vanuatu dropped since he broke up with Julie? Why is Guatemala rated so low?  I'm glad he's a fan of Micronesia. |

The worse thing about this is Marquesas being second from last. It doesnt make any sense! It had so many great characters (Kathy, Sean BRob) and the F9 episode is one of the most important ones in the history of the show.. Whatever.

This is his personal opinion though, so I don't care. I feel like it's catering towards just regular viewers and what they want to see. |

3. Samoa ("Not the most exciting cast overall, but sometimes it only takes one, and Russell is in the Survivor hall of fame...") I didn't think it was possible, but I just rolled my eyes all the way to the back of my head. To be fair, I thought he would rank it at the top. And clearly Probst hates Marquesas because it was one of the few seasons that was alpha male-less and the star of the season was a middle aged woman. |

I hope the show goes on for another 10 seasons so that Russell can become more and more obsolete with each passing season and hopefully forgotten in time. If Survivor were to end now, he'd the last thing casual fantards would remember about the whole franchise.

The biggest abomination of his ranking is Cook Islands being in the top half. YET AGAIN, the worst season of all time gets away with being shitty because Burnett et. al. refuse to admit that the twist and casting for the season were horrible mistakes. A tribe of hispanic people? Asians making fun of other Asians? Another Asian getting pissed because he feels like Asians get made fun of too much? Seriously WTF. Worst season ever.

It seems as if Probst's rankings are greatly influenced by who made the finals. The only 4 seasons that have not have any finalists return to play a second time are in the bottom 5 of his rankings and Steph has been asked back twice because of how she was portrayed in Palau rather than Guatemala.
