The only reason I don't buy that "be nice to the jury" "social game" bullshit is because 99.9% of jurors would have done the same thing if they had the chance. I have no problem calling the person who gets the majority of the votes winner, but jurys can suck. If you make it all the way to jury, leave the game, and think it has anything to do with honor/integrity/positive moral attributes you haven't learned a thing and odds are you're a shitty juror.

In hindsight, BRob was bought back, in effect, as one of two players (male and female) from Marquesas? Did they invite the right woman from Marquesas with Kathy over Vee, Neleh and Tammy. Yes, Kathy was the bigger character. But should BRob, a pre juror, have been bought back over Sean Rector? Of course not. To his credit BRob did go out and play his best game in ASS and that's what we should concentrate on.

I think Sean Rector WAS invited back for ASS, but declined. But why they went directly to Boston Rob instead of John afterwards, I don't know. But Boston Rob is way more amazing than John, so I'm not complaining.

It doesn't make you a winner in life, but it does make you winner of a game show. Which is what Survivor is.
And since today is the Superbowl, here's another analogy: Terry Bradshaw is not a greater QB than John Elway because Terry Bradshaw has four rings and John Elway only has two. But Terry Bradshaw did win more Superbowls. The end. |
