They were mix of previous seasons' theme, like Russ did for the first All Stars. And finally, we got a twist, this is not a whole mix, but contains tunes from Tocantins, Palau and Samoa at the beggining for sure. In my opinion, this theme is much better, than a mix of Samoa, Tocantins, China, Cook, Exile, Palau etc. You guys just complain for everything, but if we got a mix, you would be mad also: 'What's this crap, a mix of last season's crap, oh, fire everyone, especially the person who created it 10 years ago, and have made 2 crap theme for every year with crap soundtracks...' Think about...

It was completely soulless, voices were few and far between and way too soft, didn't seem like much effort had gone into it. Maybe you like it, that's your opinion. Mine is that it was the single worst theme in 20 seasons.

I think it was pretty interesting, especially the starting.... It's different but I agree that for a season this big, it should have been better.... Let's just hope CBS keeps the full intro and doesn't edit it every episode.

It may sound like some fanmade ones (especially the lower pitch beginning) but compared to Russ' other 19 intros this one is different and it's a nice addition to the collection, despite not fitting with the season or the hype. Judging by the music alone I would guess this is the season where they cast 20 people from 20 different religions and have them battle in some biblical location. but anyway, I don't get the complaints about reusing flutes and stuff. Aside from the obvious reuse of sounds between Tocantins and Samoa, I don't notice any serious reuse in HvV besides anything ordinary (like the conch shell) and I don't think people outside this thread do either. I like the little touches of Samoa, FvF and others in it. And I REALLY have a hard time feeling anyones pain about Gabon using sounds from Russ' trip to Kenya. Oh my lord that was like 14 seasons prior. And Gabon and Africa are so very different! I love them both.

Umm not really. You're both wrong; Thailand's 'Ancient vocals' are blended with the original vocals. There are two layers of vocals running simultaneously but they are blended so well you can be forgiven for thinking it's just the original 'Ancient vocals'.
