Does that mean the era of big Danish government is over in America?

But it is a fact that America spends more per capita on their healthcare for worse care overall than the Top 20 countries as ranked by the World Health Organisation. Or are they a communist organisation or some such thing, too? |

Is Obama a pathological liar?
Last week he met with the House Republican caucus and told Tom Price that he never made outlandish claims about health care: “I mean, the easiest thing for me to do on the health care debate would have been to tell people that, “What you’re going to get is guaranteed health insurance, lower your costs, all the insurance reforms, we’re going to lower the cost of Medicare and Medicaid, and it won’t cost anybody anything.” That’s great politics. It’s just not true.”link But in September of 2009, here's what he said to a joint session of Congress: link Liar, liar....

I really don't understand the point of the health bill, or rather the motivation.
Is Obama trying to get health care for all Americans? The bills do not do that. Is Obama trying to make health care more affordable for all but a few? The bills do not do that. Only thing I can think of is, just get something passed so you have something to crow about. We'll worry about the problems later (after Obama is out of office, natch). |

it's the only one I usually think of
the health care bill is a lot like PETA and the NRA, all started out with good intentions, but somewhere along the line, the vested interests/fringe types took over the process |

so the republicans are now bitching that obama didn't deliver everything that health reform could have after they demagogued the issue for months?
but, yeah, if you don't pass a comprehensive plan, you don't get all the benefits. that's not earth-shattering news. as a rule, would apply to most anything that needs to be overhauled. |

Democrats don't seem to realize that for good or bad, the health care issue has become poison for them. The American people don't want to hear about it anymore. They want Congress talking about jobs and tax relief. The more Democrats continue to push health care, the greater their losses will be later this year.

You don't need taxes to right America. You need cuts. Cuts to all those pork and earmarks those liberals add to bills. That will stop the deciet and lies.
America has the highest tax structure in the world at 22% and we are the most generous giving 2% of our annual income on average to charity. I bet the Danish don't do that!!! |
