No offense, Earl, but as nice a guy as you are in real life, the charisma didn't carry on screen. 18. Marquesas - It was our fault. We take the blame, but this was just a snoozer. The good news? We didn't come away empty-handed. Boston Rob remains one of our greatest players ever and is coming back for Heroes vs. Villains. Meanwhile, Gina Crews is now making jewelry. In fact, she made the necklace that I wore on Survivor: Samoa. 19. Thailand - Some things never change. I didn't like it then, I don't like it now, and you'll notice nobody from this season was invited back for Heroes vs. Villains.

Dalton Ross had a blurb with 3 sections for Survivor 20 - (1) Who's on it?; (2) The Russell factor (reminding everyone no one saw Russell play before 20 was filmed); and (3) a note about injuries. I'll leave out the specifics - if you head over to spoilers, I'm sure someone points out the injuries Dalton refers to or just PM me. Enjoy! Go Saints!

His bias is annoying and too forceful, he knows that people know he is in love with the men of survivor, or else he wouldnt have said that.

That's about it. He's still pissed off about Lill outlasting Savage. The ranking for Borneo, Micronesia, Palau, Pearl Islands, Cook Islands, Outback, The Amazon, Fiji, Panama, Vanuatu and Thailand are understandable But damnnn Samoa???? #3 that's just uhhhhh terrible ranking China???? #6 that's just too high! for me its #10 All-Stars???? #7 another too high! for me its not even top ten Tocantins??? #11 too low and he preferred Samoa/All-Stars for this!!! Africa??? too high this season is borefest Guatemala??? Too underrated Marquesas??? Again too underrated it wasn't bad at all

I've forgotten exactly what I did that you're mad about, but will you forgive me? Editors Note - Anybody know what he's talking about with Lex? Also, Jeff, if you're going to want seasons to stand the test of time, release them on DVD with commentaries from the castaways! Is lex a really social diva? That may explains why he used to be a camera hog.

As someone already said, Marquesas was revolutionary when it aired. This was the season that was make-or-break for Survivor; coming out of Africa many weren't sure Survivor could sustain itself. Had this season been any other, we might not have gotten to S20. -"Back to the island" and "for the first time we give them nothing" trend begins -Vibrant personalities & colors -16 strong characters that all brought something unique to the table -Kathy the very first underdog that went from sure-fire first boot to one of the most popular/sympathetic characters of the time "They're lyin' to me, they're all lying to me!" -The waterfall as rebirth imagery -The first time a counter-alliance came together -Boston Rob, Gabe, Peter, Patricia, Sarah "Cleopatra Jones" Hunter & Gina all had memorable storylines despite being pre-merge boots -Sean's epic arc -Rotu 4 & subsequent downfall -Discussions of race and religion throughout the season -First female f3 -Vee's infamous "No drama" strategy used to actually create drama -"Oh my heck!" -Neleh: The Sweetheart turned Power Player -Vecepia: the first alliance swapper with impeccable game play So why does Jeff hate it? No alpha-male as already stated? No Andrew or Coach or Russell? An all female f2 who aren't beauty queens or super bitches? Marquesas had 16 great characters. One epic, unforgettable arrival to the game in Sarah "Cleopatra" Jones. Constant arguments, drama, and plotting. I don't get it. And Thailand last? Fiji most definitely is last. The pre ASS seasons should be higher than the majority of the post ASS seasons. When we actually got to know all the boots, including the pre merge boots. We all remember Hunter, Gina, Gabe, Sarah, Silas, Lindsay, Kimmi, Michael Skupin, Jeff Varner, Kel, Marilyn, Ghandia, Robb, Shawna, Joanna, Nicole, Diane, Sonja, Andrew, Clarance even Jessie and BB for heavens sake. But, who the hell is Brianna, Morgan, Lilliana, Rita, Erika, Joel, Mary or Stephanie Favor?

After the Coconut Kerplunk challenge in Samoa he complained in his blog that the challenge actually took 4 hours and how much of a burden that puts on him. That challenges which run long put a huge burden on him because it prevents him from doing other things he "needs" to do before the next TC or whatever. That's why one-shot arrow shoot, one swing TBall, bowling, etc. have become the challenge standards. His personal needs are more important than a challenge which actually challenges the competitors or has anything remotely related to a survival skills or is actually entertaining to the viewers.
